Another old piece, several decades now, recently scanned. This one I left in colour as I painted it in monochrome using watercolour. This was an early attempt to use watercolour. Inked with micron pens.

A custom pony for a niece done in 2014. Recently scanned for sharing. The lines are a little wonky as the drawing was transferred to a nice watercolour paper to be painted and inked. This is the one and only pony I have drawn other than several sketches to get an understanding of the proportions.

The first in several old sketches that I will share, found during some recent sorting/cleaning. This was from a time when I ran out of regular paper and drew on some cheap vellum. This was likely inspired by Monkeyman (& O'Brian) in the late 2000's.

With Inktober finished I am sharing an old doodle sketch found on the corner of a sheet of geometry homework.

This would be my very early teens and is based on the work titled "Holland Doll" by artist Vaughan Alden Bass. Which is interesting as, while his work is solidly B-tier, he is not among the artist that come to mind when I think "pin-up". Maybe the clear horizon line and my working on geometry?

Missed line on the face and had to compensate - then it wound up looking a bit goofy. Even so, it was fun to draw a Wally Wood spacesuit.
