Updated Fire Demo for Future Fragments on Newgrounds!

So over the past month or so, we’ve hired an external guy (FrougeDev) to convert the old Fire Demo into HTML5 for Newgrounds; in doing so, we wanted to add a few features that we’d been planning for a while.

(This didn’t take away from the Ice Demo, as Albatross and Triangulate have continued work on that and weren’t a part of working on this at all.)

The features we added in this demo are;

Zooming in/out during H-scenes (this is basically a test to see how it feels for the full game/new demos)

New backgrounds

Multiple maps edited to be slightly different/more fair (removal of some cheap enemies, a few new platforms here or there)

Entirely new boss map

Go check it out at the link above if you haven’t ever played the Fire Level before, and even if you have, you can check out the few new things up there and/or leave a review about what you think about the game if you’d like, positive or negative :)

The new Ice Demo is still on track for mid/late November!

And since someone has requested it, (here) is the version with the extra cut second. It’s nothing spectacular, but it does stop the animation from ending as abruptly.

My most complex animation so far. There’s tons of little problems that I see but I don’t want to render this again, so I’ll leave it for now. Had to cut it short to keep it under 15 seconds for Gfycat. All that’s missing is 1 more second of her squirming, so no big deal. Hope it looks decent
