Somebody commented your link almost immediately on that, at least. It’s how I got here :D
Hey, just FYI, your art is being shared around the FB Star Trek groups without credit.
Thank you— I know, and it’s really frustrating! Last night I got a twitter DM about this:

Google reverse image search makes it stupid easy to find the source of an image online. I really wish people would do that before reposting art they find uncredited somewhere else.
I’m not on Facebook much, so I don’t know when this happens unless someone tells me, but even if I was, there’s nothing I can really do to stop people from reposting. I’d really appreciate it if anyone who sees a repost of my art (really anywhere, not just on FB) could drop a link back to my blog in the comments and let people know I’m the original artist— or even just link me the repost so that I can go and credit myself. Unless it’s a private group that I can’t view or comment in, which has been the case before…

in 2020 we’re going to stop being ashamed of our interests/hyperfixations and be passionate about the things that make us happy without cloaking it in sixteen layers of irony. cringe culture died so that we could all thrive. no exceptions 🌸

People always expect me to be against "redneck" hunting and it bemuses me.
First of all, please don't call people rednecks. It has awful classist connotations and makes it easier to brush rural areas off, when the reality is that many of the people in those areas are poor and struggling and tend to be the farthest left because of how much they've been fucked over by governments and corporations. Don't ignore those people. Their opinions, experiences, and knowledge are important.
And that's not even getting into things like how lack of education opportunities shape those communities and how they aren't nearly as white or straight or able-bodied as people think they are.
Second of all, all forms of hunting can be huge boons when done sustainably.
sustenance hunting can provide families and communities with desperately needed food, clothing, and income
controlled hunting and fishing helps with invasive species and animal overpopulation, especially in the case of animals like deer, wild hogs, and Asian carp
hunting is just a general part of land management and always has been
even trophy hunting, particularly in regards to big game like lions and rhinos, is often guided by conservation groups who make old animals that can't breed available to be hunted and use the money from those hunts to put towards helping the general conservation efforts; the meat, furs, horns etc usually can't be taken from the area and often go to local communities
Hunting is not a black-and-white "indigenous people good white people bad" situation. As long as it's done sustainably and respectfully, hunting is a great resource and something that can hugely benefit both communities and ecosystems.
