One of my close guy friends and I sometimes have wine nights. We haven't done them in a while bc i was busy with uni and he has a new gf (you can maybe guess where this is going). Anyway I have the whole master thing going on and he is one of the few friends that are still on a similar path so I thought lets do a wine evening and chat about it. And of course then he asked if it would bother me if his gf came too 😐 in theory nothing wrong with this. She is lovely and we chatted nicely when we hung out in our friend group but I dont have a boyfriend to bring along so it would me and them... Also I don't really like to talk when people are around that I dont really know, and I have something to talk about. Of course I said it wouldn't bother me bc I want to respect their boundaries and I can understand that she isnt comfortable with me being alone with him (I swear it was and is always platonic between us) but it kinda bothers me
