100% agreed. I have a few writers that I pay attention to (like check in to see if they have released something new) cause their work is honestly phenomenal. But overall, I spend much of my time scrolling for new fics rather than reading them. In my opinion there is too much smut, I am trying to get out of that so that considerably lessens my options for fics, and I know there are good and amazing fics that (maybe a tad suggestive but nothing like pure smut) don't rely on smut as a main plot point. Where is the emotional depth, the cute meeting and interactions? The chemistry between characters? I just want a nice story, that is well written (It doesn't have to be the best thing ever), refreshing and sweet. I know there are fics out there with those qualities because I have read them, I just wish there were more.

I think I’ve officially outgrown tumblr fanfics, it’s hard to find decent new stuff that isn’t just another smau full of poorly written characters that are nothing like their original personalities. For fandoms like Jujutsu Kaisen all the men are written like Toji=mean+horny, Sukuna=mean+less horny, Gojo=teasing+horny with little to any more depth. Or like Tokyo Revengers where most of the guys are given the same personality depending on if they’re categorized as confident or quiet. Then they make all dom-leaning characters talk with a forced accent that they definitely do not have, sometimes it’s a blaccent other times it’s a lot of “gi’me” instead of give me or “ya” instead of you. Its gotten to a point where they straight up just won’t say full words and I cannot describe the visceral ick it gives me lol. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been able to find good stuff on here before and I don’t doubt that there are good writers in these fandoms, it’s just getting harder to come by. I stopped using Wattpad for similar poor writing and it’s sad to see it happening here now.

If you think that having a blank blog means that you’re not able to give criticism as a reader then you’re just wrong idk what to tell you. That’s the reality that comes with writing and posting your work, that by no means justifies stuff like harassment or bullying, but that’s clearly not what I’ve done. Sorry if you took my opinions personally bc you have a 👀certain👀 taste in fanfic and smut tho lol

I mentioned this on Twitter, so I had to here as well. (Someone has brought this up before, tho I can’t remember where.) I love the attention to detail of the Forger kitchen in the manga. There are Bondman stickers all over the kitchen cabinets and drawers, at the perfect Anya height! 🥰

I think it’s so cute her parents are letting Anya make her house a home by sticking her stickers everywhere. (I was NOT allowed to do that as a kid.)

The apartment in the anime is iconic, but very sterile. It never changes. The manga apartment looks much more homey and lived in and I love the little details like these that shows a young child lives and plays there. For Agent Twilight to let her do this, the boy’s a big softie I think. I wonder what he thinks when he passes by these stickers all over his “temporary” home. ❤️
