only if he looks into 2024 election also.
Alex Woodward at The Independent:
Donald Trump is calling for a special prosecutor to investigate his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden, reviving an ongoing and baseless conspiracy theory that the results of the election were rigged and stolen from him. More than five years after losing in that year’s election, and after returning to the presidency a second time with his victory in 2024, the president has routinely pressed attempts to undermine the legitimacy of Biden’s presidency. “Biden was grossly incompetent, and the 2020 election was a total FRAUD!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Friday. He claimed “the evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING,” despite White House officials and campaign lawyers failing to produce any within the last five years. “A Special Prosecutor must be appointed,” Trump wrote. “This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America! Let the work begin!”
The persistent lie that the election was stolen from the president fueled violence at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, sustained partisan investigations intended to reverse the outcomes in states Trump lost, inspired Republican-led legislation in nearly every state to change how elections are run, and formed the basis of his 2024 campaign of “retribution.” There is no evidence of widespread or systemic voter fraud affecting the outcomes of the 2020 election.
[...] Trump’s false and inflated claims about election results, spanning more than a decade, have also sowed doubt among his supporters to construct the lie of “stolen” and “rigged” elections, animating Republican attempts to challenge results and craft legislation to do what the president and his allies failed to do in courtrooms in 2020. The president’s efforts to overturn his election loss are central to criminal indictments against his allies in several states. Trump himself was criminally charged with conspiracy and obstruction as part of sweeping federal investigation that was ultimately dismissed by now-former special counsel Jack Smith before Trump returned to office. The president also was criminally charged in Georgia, along with allies in the state and Rudy Giuliani, among others, for efforts to reverse his loss in the state.
Lyin’ Donald demands appointment of a special prosecutor to conduct a bogus investigation of the 2020 election results in which Trump has repeatedly and falsely asserted was “rigged” and “stolen”, all because he lost fair and square to Joe Biden.

Trump will not live forever. Whenn he is gone we will remove his name like it never existed.
President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he plans to restore the names of seven Army bases that once honored Confederate leaders, relabeling them after soldiers who share the same last names.
“We are also going to be restoring the names to Fort Pickett, Fort Hood, Fort Gordon, Fort Rucker, Fort Polk, Fort A.P. Hill and Fort Robert E. Lee,” Trump said. “We won a lot of battles out of those forts, it’s no time to change.” [...] A congressional aide, who spoke on condition of anonymity to talk about closed-door policy talks, said Trump was using a “thinly veiled attempt” to get around the law that directed the Pentagon to remove the Confederate names by finding veterans who “just so happen” to have the same names as the Civil War leaders. The Senate overrode the president’s attempted 2020 veto of the law at the end of Trump’s first term.
The Trump administration insisted this year’s redesignations were in line with laws that prevent the Pentagon from naming bases after Confederate leaders or battles. But Ty Seidule, a retired Army brigadier general who was the vice chair of the Congressional Naming Commission — tasked with relabeling bases and U.S. military assets — said that Trump’s decision went against the spirit of the new rule enacted after the George Floyd protests in 2020.
“The bottom line is he’s choosing surname over service,” said Seidule, who’s now a visiting professor at Hamilton College. “It is breaking the spirit of a law that was created by the will of the American people through their elected representatives.”
Seidule said that the commission, which was made up of three Republicans, one Democrat and four retired flag officers, spent 20 months seeking input from the public and got 33,000 responses to change the names of Army bases and other installations and assets named after Confederates, including Navy ships.
This is just despicable. It would be like the Germans renaming military bases with the names of German soldiers who just happened to have the same names as prominent Nazis.

Maybe he will die from the drugs.
He forcibly and potentially illegally gained access to wildly sensitive government data that he hired a bunch of unvetted 20-somethings to oversee ― and hewas potentially blitzed out of his mind at the same time.
Just days after tech billionaire Elon Musk officially left his role as a top adviser to President Donald Trump, The New York Times reported that the tech mogul was consuming large quantities of drugsaround the same time he became a fixture on the campaign trail.
Citing private messages obtained by the Times and interviews with Musk’s associates, the outlet reported that Musk took ketamine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms, Ambien, Adderall, and other drugs, and traveled with a daily medication box that held about 20 pills.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla reportedly took so much Ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic known to induce schizophrenia-like symptoms, that it affected his bladder function.
The report is bolstered by a January 2024 Wall Street Journal investigation in which sources close to Musk said they’d witnessed or had direct knowledge of him using LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, mushrooms and ketamine.

Why would this be hard to understand.

Republicans using a felon to pardon other felons is white supremacy as policy.
It is a core value for GOP/MAGA.

The US will be a textbook case of losing our freedoms.
Legal residents of the United States sent to foreign prisons without due process. Students detained after voicing their opinions. Federal judges threatened with impeachment for ruling against the administration’s priorities. In the Opinion video above, Marci Shore, Timothy Snyder and Jason Stanley, all professors at Yale and experts in authoritarianism, explain why America is especially vulnerable to a democratic backsliding — and why they are leaving the United States to take up positions at the University of Toronto.
This is a gift🎁 link, so there is no paywall. I strongly encourage you to watch the video. Timothy Snyder, Jason Stanley, and Marci Shore are all experts who study authoritarianism. They are leaving Yale to work in Toronto. They know that American democracy is rapidly falling to an authoritarian regime.
We have to stop assuming that warnings of authoritarianism and fascism in the U.S. are mere hysteria or hyperbole.
The rise of authoritarianism in the U.S. is happening now.
We risk losing everything if we keep our heads in the sand.

US copyrights will end up being ignored by forign countrys.
The two men appeared at the US Copyright Office days after the Trump administration fired its leader, who had just published a report about the use of copyrighted materials for AI training.
TWO MEN CLAIMING to be newly appointed Trump administration officials tried to enter the US Copyright Office in Washington, DC, on Monday, but left before gaining access to the building, sources tell WIRED. Their appearance comes days after the White House fired the director of the copyright office, Shira Perlmutter, who had held the job since 2020. Perlmutter was removed from her post on Saturday, one day after the agency released a report that raised concerns about the legality in certain cases of using copyrighted materials to train artificial intelligence.
A source familiar with the matter tells WIRED that the two men who tried to enter the Copyright Office showed security at the building a document stating that they had been appointed by the White House to new roles within the office. The source identified the men as Brian Nieves, who claimed he was the new deputy librarian, and Paul Perkins, who said he was the new acting director of the Copyright Office, as well as acting register.

Everything named trump needs to be buried.

The Trump administration has terminated a federal advisory committee that issued guidance about preventing the spread of infections in health care facilities.
The Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) crafted national standards for hand-washing, mask-wearing and isolating sick patients that most U.S. hospitals follow.
Four committee members said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention delivered the news about HICPAC’s termination to members Friday.
A letter reviewed by NBC News — which members said the CDC sent out after a virtual meeting — says the termination took effect more than a month previously, on March 31. According to the letter, the termination aligns with President Donald Trump’s executive order calling for a reduction of the federal workforce.
Four professional societies previously asked Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a letter on March 26 to preserve the committee amid widespread cuts to federal health agencies. The CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
Several of the committee’s web pages have been archived, meaning they are still available to view online but are no longer being updated.
Some members now say they fear that its guidelines will be frozen in time, unable to evolve with new scientific research or the spread of drug-resistant organisms, which are a particular threat to hospitals.

Paula should be worried. Trump will not live forever, we need to let him know that when he is gone we will remove the name trump from whereever it is. Just like other countrys did for rulers that ruined their countrys.

Americans nearing retirement and recent retirees said they were anxious and frustrated following a second day of market turmoil that hit their 401(k)s after President Donald Trump’s escalation of tariffs.
As the impending tariffs shook the global economy Friday, people who were planning on their retirement accounts to carry them through their golden years said the economic chaos was hitting too close to home.
Some said they are pausing big-ticket purchases and reconsidering home renovations, while others said they fear their quality of life will be adversely affected by all the turmoil.
“I’m just kind of stunned, and with so much money in the market, we just sort of have to hope we have enough time to recover,” said Paula, 68, a former occupational health professional in New Jersey who retired three years ago.
Paula, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she feared retaliation for speaking out against Trump administration policies, said she was worried about what lies ahead.

Why do police wear masks?
Turkish student at Tufts University detained, video shows masked people handcuffing her
SOMERVILLE, Mass. (AP) — A Turkish national and doctoral student at Tufts University has been detained by U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents without explanation, her lawyer said Wednesday.
Rumeysa Ozturk, 30, had just left her home in Somerville on Tuesday night when she was stopped, lawyer Mahsa Khanbabai said in a petition filed in Boston federal court.
Video obtained by The Associated Press appears to show six people, their faces covered, taking away Ozturk’s phone as she yells and is handcuffed.
“We’re the police,” members of the group are heard saying in the video.
A man is heard asking, “Why are you hiding your faces?”
