I didn't have time this year to make anything huge for the convention but I'm happy I have some easy things to wear! Casual KDH Mira is such a vibe, and my bought Makima cosplay is comfy, too. Plus I think I'll actually attend the rave this year, which I have not done since I was a teenager (and I don't want to disclose how long ago that was lol).

So yeah, nothing hugely impressive but I think this year is more about just having fun with people (and geeking out about KDH). After a big move, I think this is how I can celebrate everything!

While unpacking, I came across some old journals circa 2010 and it's sobering to recall how much growth I've gone through and how much work I've done in my life to get to where to a place where I can genuinely say I'm happy.

I have completely different people in my life now - genuinely good people. I'm in an extremely healthy and happy relationship now. I have a fulfilling job. I enjoy my little hobbies, am surrounded by people that make me feel safe and heard, and feel like I'm stepping into myself and living more authentically.

I think I want to burn the journals. There is a lot of pain, anger, resentment, and loneliness in those pages that was really, really hard to read. I don't think I should have to carry the burden of those memories anymore.

I came across some old photos I took with a disposable when I went to Europe in high school and wow, I took some incredible shots! I'll have to find them and share them here!

Makes me want to plan a big European vacation probably in 5-10 years. Would love to revisit Greece... Maybe Norway?
