Yes I get that, it has always been about Valkyrie and her life but Im not sure about others but I fell in love with the books to see both their duo dynamic and growth and most people in the ebook only highlighted the skulduggery and valkyrie interactions and their dynamics.

How did skulduggery become a side character in his own book series. In book 17, he’s barely in it and we only get crumbs of valduggery. The series has gone downhill very fast and have only 2-3 pages of Skulduggery actually in a 400 book is making it become worse very fast.

Im sick of Lardo uncoordinated and messy plotlines so instead of listening to him im going to staty making canond and anyone can join in and disagree or agree with me in the comments and add their own cannons

• Valkyrie meets Alice’s class teacher and fall for her even though she is a human

• Skulduggery decides to start dating again bc Val forced him to explore his options. He was sitting at a bar one day and gets approached by a guy and start to become friends after always running into him at the bar.

• Val starts considering if Alice should be sent to Corival Academy when shes older because it is inevitable for her to be part of the world of magic

•Dexter and Saracen are open friends with benefits but they are not solidifying the relationship

I think dark days is when my smaller self looked at skulduggery and went “ohhh he’s kinda fucked up” like i mean just all of skug coming back y’know. like this man is not good

Skulduggery and China actually having a child together and just liking each other is SO cracy to me

Like the romance is so good but also China helped kill Skulduggerys wife. But now thinking about that did she only do that because she was in love with Skulduggery and then she need to protect herself from Skulduggery and all the scenes with China subtly flirting with Skulduggery and praising him is so wild. AND OMG THE TIME CHINA WAS GOING TO LIGHT HERSELF AND BURN HERSELF TO DEATH WITH THE SIGILS THAT SCENE JUST HAS 10000% more meaning to it now.

NOW I AM SO MAD THAT CHINA IS OLD NOW UGHHHH THE CHEMISTRY WE MIGHT HAVE GOT BUT ITS OK IT COULD STILL HAPPEN WITH CHINA BEING OLD I GUESS AND ITS STILL GOOD

Throughout the whole Skulduggery series Skulduggery never gave up on Val even when he found out she was Darquesse or the Child of the Faceless Ones but Val always took him for granted which is so depressing to think about. She was never there for him and then blamed him for taking her 12 year old self on adventures and murder cases.
