so i'm aware that i'm late to the party and that people probably talked about it a 100th time already bc the game's been out for years now. but since i'm writing ryuji, i really wanna share this random thought anyway.

it seems like the number 7 is a huge deal for his character. the chariot is the 7th major arcana, his birth month is july, and in game he wears a hoodie with the number 777 on the back. however, he doesn't strike me as someone who'd believe in lucky numbers, that would mean letting numbers determine one's life & future and he's not here for that. another thing, which is so obvious, sometimes he sure as hell got more luck than brains. i'm not saying that he is a lucky person 24/7 because welp life kicked his ass pretty badly, let's be honest. but he is still here, despite everything, doing what he believes in and standing up for himself and others, even if the odds are stacked against him. in a way, he himself is the secret third 7 which, combined with the first two mentioned above, creates 777. so perhaps... he is the team's lucky charm. jkjk ... unless?
