"I'm thinking, I'm thinking..." he's rambling, the eyes focused on the crowd circling them.

"You better think of something fast, because if he turns me into a mummy, you're the first one I'm coming after." Karen declared with her voice trembling, she turned her head to look at Frank for what it could be her last time ever looking at him.

Karen Page, a librarian and aspiring Egyptologist, and Foggy Nelson, her best friend and an excellent lawyer, usually have drinks together in one of the best — according to Foggy himself — bars in town: Josie's Place. On a friday night, the two friends found themselves in the middle of a bar fight and after hiding behind one the tables, Karen is quick to realize an intricate box fell from the pocket of one of the fighters and takes it for herself before even thinking twice.

She only got a glimpse of his face, yet she remembers him too well.

When she finds the map of Hamunaptra inside the box, Karen convinces Foggy to go along with her to find the mysterious man. They find ex-military Frank Castle in a local prison and Karen makes a deal with him to lead them to the City of the Dead if she gets him released, he agrees.

It wasn't in Frank's plan go back to Hamunaptra, although a certain blonde Egyptologist makes it hard to not go back to the place he once served alongside The French Foreign Legion. So when Karen accidentally wakes up a 3000 year old mummy who begins to wreak havoc in searching for the reincarnation of his long-lost love, Frank's got no other choice than to stop the terror and save Karen in the process.

Okay so I’m a little behind on Children of Éarte but I stg Deb said something about them potty training now and having stickers as incentives??? I promise I’m being totally normal about this but I can’t find anything confirming or denying that she’s a mom now. My first thought was that they had a new puppy, but like, you don’t give dogs stickers?

Look, I’m not saying that Kastle cured my depression and solved all my problems. All I’m saying is that Deborah Ann Woll is once again playing Karen Page on a show that is also featuring Jon Bernthal playing Frank Castle and suddenly all my self care got a whole lot easier.

karen says she used to hide in a closet as a child, wanting to be far away from her home, and frank stares at her like she put the stars in the sky

like imagine meeting someone at your very worst, when you’re essentially an animal, someone who SEES YOU and WANTS TO KNOW YOU so much that you have no choice but to respond to it. imagine your soul being awakened like that. and the only reason you met that person is because your family was slaughtered in front of you.

every time karen yells at frank actually he just looks at her like “I guess I’ll just get on my knees now???? would that please you ma’am????”

After starting the year with a bang of gorgeous Jontent, we are finally back with a brand-new event. 

We are making it extra special, since the “main character” of this event will be Jon’s infamous Beard (yes, it deserves a capital B). There won’t be a theme a day this time. The only rule will be that whatever you create MUST include the Beard. Shave it off? Grow it longer? Pull on it? Burn from it? Everything is up to YOU!  

Since we didn’t do anything last September, we chose to have this event around his birthday month to celebrate the man we all love and thirst over.

Don’t mind me, I’m just suddenly blinded by the angst of Deb saying that between Matt & Frank, Karen would probably spend the rest of her life with Matt, because my brain helpfully followed that up with because she knows she’d always be dreading the day that meant she’d been with Frank for the rest of his life but still had a lifetime to go.
