Here's a Grist to the Cannon release schedule! Now all in one convenient post. Barring any absolutely insane last-minute edits or printing issues, here's the plan:

September 15-30: I will be running pre-orders in my shop, if you don't want to go through another distributor for various reasons. We're past the point for new supporters to get this round of book club rewards, but if you get your donation set up before the end of this period you can still get in the credits list!

October 1(possibly give-or-take a couple days, depending on Emergencies): ARCs go out! I still don't have too many so I will be accepting new advance readers right up until the end of September when the books are finalized; if you'd like to trade an epub copy for an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads (or I guess Storygraph? people keep asking about that one), or even here on tumblr, email me!

October 22: The advance readers will get three weeks to Consider It, then the book will go up for sale everywhere on October 22nd! IDEALLY those preordered copies will also be in the mail by then, I'm not expecting too many so I'm gonna try not to make y'all supporting me directly wait too much longer than the Amazon folks.

After her murder by the sun god, Phineas Kidd was resurrected as a commander— one who trades their soul for the ability to rewrite reality through sheer grit. Phineas uses it to punch things. When Phineas rolls into the desert outpost of Last Chance the only ship in sight belongs to Cold Hazard, the wizard terrorizing the town and its mining operation. Fortunately she also meets Ulrich, a perpetually irritable stage magician who only wants to kill her some of the time. With his pistols and her fists, it should be no problem to climb the town's radio tower and deal with one crusty old dude.

...though, the things lurking in the depths below Last Chance might be more trouble than they or anyone else can handle.
