I can finally share this comic I did for @aawomenzine ! I was super proud to be a part of this project and so so happy with how this comic came out. Each page is a different card suit! Loved this project ❤️

It's entertaining for the audience of course, but the constant references to 20th century Earth on Star Trek are a bit funny seen from the outside. Many of the crew members were not even born on Earth, which is only one tiny planet among many. The 20th century is so far away culturally and technologically. Imagine if today the ISS were manned with people who are just obsessed with 17th century Liechtenstein. They listen to Baroque music every day, don period garb for some make believe play every chance they get and explain everything with references to the 30 year war, the Little Ice Age and the witch burnings.
