I don't think this is a case of Arthur thinking too much of Faroe herself, but him thinking of how she'll affect him, and how she'd be his daughter... but he wasn't thinking about Faroe.

When Faroe drowned, Arthur was just writing music, he wasn't thinking of her at all:

"I wrote a piece of music, and I... and I thought of nothing else. [...] I thought of nothing else as my daughter Faroe drowned" (Part 17)

Also, I can't remember if he was specifically writing for Faroe this time but it... really doesn't matter if he was or wasn't. She died either way. If he was writing for Faroe this time it'd just make it more messed up, since the focus wasn't Faroe even if the intention was to play it for her. If you focus so much on your art that you're making for your daughter that you end up forgetting about her completely, then your focus has shifted. Your daughter is no longer the main point, the music is. It does more harm than good.

And in Part 31, Arthur's main focus was how he'd end up looking if he chooses to leave his pregnant wife. Most of his words were just him defending himself.

None of this was about Faroe as a person, it was about Faroe as his daughter and Arthur as a bad father who desperately doesn't want to look like a bad father.

You ever get into a specific piece of media and when someone says they'll start watching you get excited for them?

I finished the Malevolent podcast in the span of 3, maybe 4 days because I got that invested in the what's next, the characters, the mystery... I can't say enough good things about this show.

These are early listening doodles as I explored what I wanted John might look like. As I continued the series, I wanted to push for something with a sort-of mask, but unsettlingly creepy and a touch alien. Also TEEF.

And then John kept being John with his expressiveness and I would die for him, your honor.
