Queen Camilla became their colonel in 2022. She is wearing Queen Elizabeth's brooch.

The royal cypher at the center changes accoding to the monarch.

Both Elizabeth II and Camilla wear the badge with George VI's cypher. When the late Queen became their Colonel in 1942, she was then The Princess Elizabeth and her father was the sovereign.

Princess Anne wore this tiara for a photoshoot. It's likely a piece from the vault. I wonder why nobody was loaned it during the late Queen's reign.

Hope we will see it worn by either the Princess Royal or the Duchess of Edinburgh.

It seems to have pearls on top. Otherwise is full diamonds.

''Button Tiara'' - The Duchess of Edinburgh

There was speculation that this tiara could be the central row element of the tiara worn by Princess Alice (Prince Philip's mother) in the photo below:

We know she gave the diamonds of this tiara to her son so that he could give his future wife an engagement ring and the diamond bracelet he gifted her for their wedding.

I doubt so many diamonds remained after the creation of the bracelet. Maybe some loose diamonds in the vault were used to create Sophie's tiara.

If so....what happened to the aquamarine topping the tiara? And the matching necklace and earrings?
