Personal headcannon for my Dragonborn ✨🌼 Amata 🌻✨:

So like I LOVE Herma Mora sm! Like his lore eats DOWN!! I also love the cosmic/elderich/religion horror shi he got goin on so I had the idea (that is now cannon for my LDB) that when the Dragonborn pledges their soul to Herma mora at the summit of apocrypha, they see a glimpse of their own fate.

Now here’s why I think it eats DOWNNN 👀

My Dragonborn is a member of the Ash’aba and very into helping and healing people she’s also an Ansei (it’s like the shouts for Nords but cool shiny spirit swords instead of cool shiny shouts)

Now the idea that A) she is going against her fundamental morals and principles to save the world/spin back on Miraak cause he was speaking with a bit too much bass in his voice, and B) getting access to a scary unnatural power that could consume her and turn her into Miraak 1.3.5 the remix.

And now imagine on top of that for a split moment she just experiences every single strand of her fate (including things like choices and outcomes for Vigilant and other quest mods) and it is HORRIFYING idk I feel like it would be an excellent way to have a corruption/fallen angle ending or just add a bit of angst.

I also like to extend this idea further by imagining that this also goes for every time they absorb a dragon soul, like they get glimpses into the future and their fate/others fates which they cannot prevent and overtime, it starts chipping away at their sanity.

AHHHAHHAHAHH (every day I get closer to writing that fanfic 😔)
