Idk why, but I can only imagine Sakura proposing to Sasuke and not the other way around. I just think that Sasuke's too introverted/ignorant of romantic context to work upto it himself. Anyway, just for fun - how do you think Sakura would propose to Sasuke? XD

I do know what you mean, and I initially thought the same thing about Sasuke, which was why if Sasuke was indeed the one to propose, my headcanon was of him doing so in a very unorthodox and casual way where he didn’t even actually ask her if she’d marry him, but rather asked her to make her declaration that she wanted to be with him “official”, by presenting her with a ring/necklace.

My actual headcanon for how they agreed to get married was that neither of them proposed, but they instead reached that conclusion through a mutual discussion, where the topic of marriage was brought up (probably by Sakura), and they both agreed that it was something they wanted to do in the future.

However, if Sakura were the one to have proposed, I suppose I can see her doing so by also slipping it in through conversation. They’d likely be discussing Sasuke’s family, how much they meant to him, and how after a long while, he was finally ready to let go of the past and move into the future, one which he’d look forward to. Sasuke would then bashfully add “hopefully with you beside me”, and this would serve to give Sakura the little bit of courage she needed to tell him that she wanted nothing more than to give him the happiness that was so long overdue for him. That she wanted to help him give a new beginning to the Uchiha clan, maybe start a family of their own, and hoped that she’d be able to do so as his wife.

Sasuke would initially be a little taken aback by her declaration, and this time it’d be Sakura who would bashfully add “If… you’ll have me?”…

In response, I believe this would have been the first of several occasions where Sasuke would display that smile that “he never showed anyone but Sakura”:

Headcanon of sasusaku first time 🔥 😏👏🍆

Well, if you really wanna know how I imagine it happened…

(This would take place after their first kiss btw)…

It was during a night at one of the inns that they were staying at, a night where Sasuke had a particularly bad nightmare. When he awoke with a start, he’d be breathing heavily, and he’d look to his side to find Sakura sleeping peacefully. After looking at her rather enviously for a little while, he’d get up and walk to the window in an attempt to clear his head and try to forget about the dream he had just had.

After a few minutes, he’d hear Sakura stirring, and she’d inevitably wake to find that he was no longer in the bed. She found him sitting on the windowsill, looking rather troubled. After asking him what was wrong with a worried expression on her face, Sasuke replied that he’d had a bad dream, his first in a while; one where it was like he’d been cast in an alternate reality, where he was shown what could have potentially become of him had he gone through with his revolution. He was shown the miserable lives of those beneath him, the collective hatred he had gathered in the world, how he’d spend every minute of every day feeling empty and alone, and worst of all, he was shown the looks he received from those he was once closest to. Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi - the looks they gave him pierced a hole through his very soul. They, who used to look at him with expressions filled with hope and endearment, now glared at him with scorn and resentment.

While Sakura was looking on with a pained expression, Sasuke would explain to her that simply remembering those expressions from his team mates shook him, it pained him:

and made him realize how close he truly came to condemning himself to such a future; one that seemed as empty as the void. He now knew what he wanted, what kind of future he wanted, and he knew that what he had just experienced was most definitely not it. As a tear began to run down Sakura’s cheek:

Sasuke would make a request in a rather timid fashion; he’d ask her if she’d be okay with staying by his side. Sakura was initially a little surprised; she would have thought that Sasuke would have known her answer by now. Thus, While looking at Sasuke with a remarkably soft expression that he used to take for granted, Sakura made her way to him, took hold of his hand and guided it to her chest. Sasuke’s tense posture would then relax as he felt her heartbeat, and Sakura, emitting all the love in the world, told him very gently that she’d never leave him.

Sasuke would then give a smile that he’d only display to Sakura, and thank her in a very familiar way. However, after a moment, Sasuke would realize that Sakura had not simply guided his hand to her chest, but she had guided it to her breast. After this realization, he’d hesitantly point this out to Sakura and attempt to remove his hand. However, to his surprise, she’d stop him, and while remaining unfazed, she’d tell him that she was perfectly okay with it, as long as he was too. 

After a short pause, Sasuke would look at her very earnestly, and affirm to her that he was okay with it as well. It is then that Sakura would lead him back to their bed, and they’d close the distance between themselves…

And the rest, as they say, is history.

I like the one without the glasses tho, i could clearly see Sakura’s eyes shape. 

But she really look a bit intimidating as Kishi said.
