it makes me so sad to see writers on here apologize for not being able to update everyday, like you don't need to apologize, you owe NOTHING to ANYONE !! if you're not feeling your best, take a break, this isn't a nine to five job, you're not getting paid.

tumblr is meant to be a space where you can post/do what you enjoy, and for the people putting pressure to these writers ( often quite young ) need to get a life. if you want to read a story without having to wait a little, go buy a book.

writers on here are generous enough to share their beautiful words and their takes on storylines, they shouldn't have to deal with feeling like they're disappointing people if they don't feed people with a post every 15 minutes. you have to realize that these creators are students, have jobs, or are struggling with things in their personal lives, tumblr fanfiction is not and shouldn't be a priority.

if you're a reader, i encourage you take a minute to send your appreciation to some of your favorite writers when you have the time, you may not realize it but writers on here get very little feedback and compliments on the time and effort they put in their works, so kind words here and there make such a big difference in a creator's confidence and motivation !

the weather being warm and sunny, with a gentle breeze blowing through the trees. you and your boyfriend, taerae decided to plan a picnic date, so you pack a basket with all your favourite foods: sandwiches, fruit, cupcakes and a chilled carton of orange juice.

you spread out the blanket, and taerae helped you set up the food and drinks. you enjoyed a delicious meal together, chatting and laughing about everything under the sun.

ricky leaned forward to be able to snuggle closer to you, feeling your warmth and the softness of your skin. you could feel his heart beating against your chest.
