the “he would not even let me comfort him” part from saint in a play of light and shadow really gets me because its sandwiched right between arrivals’ tomb rider where saint distracts osiris from panic with candy corn and then seraph’s warmind avatar mark (and equivalents) where saint coaxes osiris into admitting his frustrations are fuelled by him being afraid that he’s broken. because the second it’s actually osiris both before and after sagira he seeks saint’s comfort. his want for that is a noticeable part of him. savathûn’s version of him was made on the assumption that a cold, private man like osiris with ‘few friends and many enemies’ would have kept his pain to himself but the reality is that while he is private, he more often than not takes steps to share his vulnerabilities with saint. it’s one of the most damning inaccuracies of savathûn’s recreation. uweh…
