stumbled across this beautiful little saw-whet owl and it scared me so much because I nearly ran into it!

I had just ducked under a branch and took like two steps and saw this guy staring right at me just about 6 feet away from me. snapped a bunch of photos and then it flew off which I luckily got a video of!

(pardon my breathing noises I was freaking out and my heart was beating out of my chest)
