Micah headcanons for Micah Monday pt. 1

• Micah isn't a fan of PDA, he won't even call a partner a petname in front of anyone.. and really he won't call them one in private either. It isn't out of dislike, he just isn't a fan and never has been.

• He has a detached attachment style, often trying to seem like he doesn't need friends or a partner - that if he wasn't in a relationship or friendship he'd be fine. In reality he does need that connection, but he isn't the greatest at showing it.

• Really the only living thing he trusts to he a constant in his life is Baylock - the horse loves him no matter what he does, after all. Micah wouldn't be able to say the same for humans.

• He used to want there to be a god, when he was younger, as he wanted *something* to look forward to. Nowadays obviously he's atheist and has a very blunt view on human nature and life.

• He's far more at ease in places where he doesn't have the constant worry of the law or the constant drama of camp, which is why he was far more muted and cooperative on Guarma. Plus there wasn't argument about plans and a ton of planning on actions to be taken, which is exactly what he likes. He's a man of action, after all.

• He isn't a fan of dressing nice, he loves his gritty gunslinger aesthetic.

• He can play a jaw harp and a harmonica, though he never does this unless he's alone with Baylock.

• Despite not liking dogs Micah likes cats. Whenever he encounters a stray in Saint Denis or whatnot, he'll bend down to give the thing a scratch. If it won't come up to him he'll give it a simple, 'Hey kitty'.

• He's scared of spiders, shockingly.

So I made a better one obviously the last two songs are jokes. The playlist is short asf but it's songs id either see him listening to or stuff that just reminds me of him even if it doesn't have a deeper meaning to his character ermm.

Could you do some Charles headcanons for him travelling with his love interest after the disbanding of the gang for a degenerate like me? Please?

Charles and you after the disband

• After helping Charles to bury Arthur and Susan, he tells you that Canada is where the two of you will be headed.

• At first the trip is somber, the reality of what happened settling in for both of you, the way that everything in the gang that the two of you had known as home forever, gone just like that. Friends you had forever, Arthur, Hosea, Lenny, gone within a month or so of eachother. Arthur's death seemed to hit Charles particularly hard, though.

• Despite the sadness and somberness, Charles makes sure you're comfortable and as happy as can be - hunting for rabbits instead of deer so there isn't as much to carry. You're nothing if not well fed and taken care of.

• He constantly checks to see if you need anything, extra food, warmth, *anything.* It can be a tad overbearing at times, but his intentions are pure. Charles was never like this in the past, but the experiences of the law few months really shook both of you.

• Charles assures you that Canada will be safe, quite often. Assures you that it will be a safe place for you and any future family if you decide to have one.

• During nights, he often sits awake to keep guard for hours after you fall asleep, though you often fall asleep in his lap, feeling safe in his embrace. He'll sit against a tree, one hand running through your hair while he scans the forest every so often before going back to simply gazing at the beautiful person that is you in his lap.

• If you're too tired, he lets you sit in front of him on his horse and sleep back against him, and he makes sure your horse trails behind, obviously. You've of course, slipped a few times when he forgot to hold onto you, but he's never let you fall off the horse completely.

• Late at night when you struggle with what happened, he'll sit up with you and hold onto you, softly humming or singing for you even if he isn't the greatest at it. Sometimes it even ends in cute little makeout sessions.

• When you do get to Canada, he tells you a lot about the country, talking more than you'd seen him to in awhile. Really it just seems he's excited to start a life with you, even if he just shows it by talking a lot.

• He of course, introduces you to the Wapiti clan and their culture. He's shared things with you before, but now he can *show* you too.

so someone said "micah being abused by his father is no excuse for his actions because arthur was abused too and he doesn't behave that way" and

1. it might not be an excuse but it is an explanation

2. people react differently to trauma and people should keep that in mind

3. arthur does not have a fixed personality, i thought that was obvious since that's literally... the point of the game. depending on which honor you pursue, he could be either good or bad. he could be the most cold-hearted, vile, cruel, selfish person in the world

in any case, i wish people would take the time to understand a character instead of putting them in the tiny, shallow box that is "villain, bad, yuck" because that sounds a bit too much like a child's reasoning
