More things i'm not sure people really know about I might as well share here, one of the first songs Dallon ever wrote. From his highschool band 1000 West. Most 1000 West songs were sung by Scott Jones but i'm pretty confident this ones him

Another CD I scored recently, an old promo copy of Take a Vacation! WITH the sticker on it, even if the case is thrashed all of these things I see have usually been case swapped and don't have it. I'm a huge nerd so I wanted one with it on. Also this early promo uses slightly different cover art which I thought was cool.

I needed a rip of the old master because for some reason when they released the deluxe remaster of the album they took the old one down everywhere, why? Don't they know a solid 5 people want both?

So basically immediately after my last post I was looking at some footage of shots of clearfield highs exterior and would you believe there was MORE 1000 West footage tacked onto the end? Here have some more of them being weird in the car.

pspspspsps I got more 1000 West footage kind of sort of. I've had this years but forgot about trimming it off the end of the short film it's a part of. oops. I'm still retired this doesn't count

Today is the 20th Anniversary of Happiest Nuclear Winters release

The CD release show took place on January 22nd 2005 at Kilby Court with the bands ‘Tolchock Trio’, ‘Seve vs. Evan’ and ‘Murietta’, entry was $5. What were you doing?

The Happiest Nuclear Winter remaster is out on streaming now! But not Spotify quite yet because uh...

Yeah, so Spotify comes later. And so I am also prepared for a whole new generation of brobecks fans that thinks this is a completely new album and not a remaster

It would seem the Happiest Nuclear Winter remaster is a bit delayed, maybe a few days so. In the meantime you can always listen to the original on Brobecks.com. there's also a teaser on Matt's YouTube channel for a new Brobecks documentary

hi! you mentioned a physical release of hnw in your latest video, where did you get that info from? I thought it was just being released on streaming, I must have missed the announcement!! also, do you know what time zone the midnight release is? thank you :)

I misspoke because I haven't been keeping up very closely. The only thing happening midnight on new years is it on streaming! They are doing vinyls but that comes later, CDs have not been confirmed yet. My bad.

As for time zone I'm not sure, I assume mountain time but it might be midnight universally

I put out one last video for the Brobecks archive channel to update people on the band being back, and the discography archive on the brobecks wiki being complete. I've talked about this band for far too long, and will still be doing so in the future. Just a little less

Here's a way old garage performance of C'mon Vietnam for all of you eagerly awaiting the Happiest Nuclear Winter rerelease in 3 days. The album wouldn't even start recording for another month after this, and it's the only recording of the song that features their early guitarist Casey Durrans playing on it.
