The video was soo good! I recently looked back at Lachambers and loved seeing the inspiration the Duffers got from it for byler💛💙

Recently made a deep dive video on the two ships Byler & Lachambers and it is now posted on my YouTube channel (first video) Check it out if you’re interested, I go through a lot of similarities between the pair, including similar queer undertones, similar shots, and overall traits and “problems” that the 4 commonly deal with. Throughout the video I also make points and explanations on how we could have Byler endgame in season 5, as well as also including other queer media and characters and similar problems they face or similar symbolism that stranger things and stand by me also portray.

It’s only a 20 minute video but I made sure to go through a lot of topics and share my viewpoints + To me Noah & Finn auditioning with Lachambers lines really signifies the inspiration the Duffers took from the pair, so my analysis on it wouldn’t be too much of a “shot in the dark” especially when drawing parallels.

Me if Will "I'm not gonna fall in love" Byers, is actually supposed to accept, that his life sucks and that he isn't gonna fall in love, because his job is to uplift his crush' het relationship with his adoptive sister:

(No byler doubt here, but I crash out at the idea of Will only being a plot device for Milkvan's relationship and because of their stans hating on Will, wanting him dead)

Honestly f them, they always get mad when we write something byler related under ST (sometimes it's even general fandom -- >) posts (not even milkvan), they always gotta argue with RANDOM COMMENTS

About the sign ups: While last time I had participants choose preferences from two catgeories I thought would help me match people up, I've elected to try out wishlist based system this time around. This means that you will be able to give your gift giver a couple of prompts they can then choose from, and also will be able to inform me of any themes/topics you don't want to see among the prompts of the person you will be assigned. These prompt wishes can be as vague or as specific as you want, and do not have to be compatible with each other (although gift givers are, of course, allowed to combine prompts if they want to). An example wishlist therefore could be: "Something fluffy, Star Wars AU, or something horror, the more gore the better ;)" Likewise an example of a no-go list might be include things like "fluff", "AUs", or "gore".

The only byler doubt I have, isn't from the team working on Stranger Things or the Duffers not intending to write it, it's actually Netflix and how money hungry they are.

Stranger Things is their most viewed show and with how loud homophobia has gotten again, I don't doubt Netflix would cut Byler Endgame, if they are only thinking about ratings and good publicity. Not only that, but I could imagine them pulling a Disney just to appease to some countries or even only some reviewers/critics.

And the other hand my biggest byler truth, is how sad milkvan endgame would be.

Mike, ending up in a relationship full of lies and not being to express love, because there is no romance, mirroring his parent's loveless relationship.

Mike(who is the character, that is actually the most queercoded) who doesn't smile after his girlfriend kisses him, who only cares, if she still needs him, who couldn't tell by her body language that she was uncomfortable at Rink O Mania. Being stuck in a relationship, that barely has anything in common.

El, ending up with the guy, that is paralleled MULTIPLE times to her abuser (even if it wasn't meant like that by Mike, because he doesn't know exactly what Brenner said to her).

El who didn't even know what a friend was, let alone how to express HERSELF, being in a relationship, that is titled by some people (cough the GA cough) to be a dream or relationship goals. Is like putting her into a prison, because neither she or Mike know how to handle this, especially not her, who mainly gets her relationship advice, from movies.

Both of them stuck in their first relationship (not that marrying your first love is wrong, but that means their only experience would be each other, which is highly concerning looking at their relationship)which is being romantized, since they were TWELVE, even though they both need time to think about what they actually want in life.

And Will, who is a queer kid in the middle of nowhere thinking he is never gonna fall in love with someone or atleast someone, that will love him back, because he is still coming to terms with his identity and probably doesn't even believe there are more people like him in Hawkins, especially considering how the town talked about him in S1.

Will, who has been in love with his 'straight' friend, not only trying to surpress his feelings but also actively Mike's, because he believes Milkvan to be what Mike actually needs/deserves. Someone who he can actually be seen loving out and proud on the streets.

(Will who wouldn't just start a relationship with someone else after yearning for Mike's affection for so long. THAT would be no build up for a relationship, considering he is the only main character, that doesn't build up new relationships, like the other characters)

I would rather have just a milkvan break up, then know, these three are suffering from suppressing their true feelings.

The GA is really unbelievable.

Went into the comments for a video, I wanted to watch and in them, they were talking about how random the plot lines in S2/S3 were and how S4 saves the show 🫠

Did we watch the same show?

Because I personally thought S4 was weird, by bringing this new big bad in without any implications of him in another seasons.

I also thought that there were too many plot lines happening at the same time, making the show feel very cluttered and harder to follow.

The crew being split up so much only makes it worse, especially because there are storylines that never connect: For example Jopper and Murray in Russia and the kids fighting the upside down. Or how the Cali crew is really separated from everything happening.

I just think it's weird to dismiss S2 and S3, because I don't think their storylines are that outlandish or trying to just up the shock factor for the viewer. Especially because S2 and S3 have the same villain, but it's getting more powerful.

Sorry for the rant, I am just really mad at the dismissal of these seasons.
