a gijinka refresh in honor of 6 years since white 2 (featuring new pre-evos)

so, back then, i didn't really publish in-depth about my runs or have some elaborate story for them. characters like jackie have basically no content besides maybe answering an ask. and i actually didn't really post a bulk of content until AFTER the run. i just threw little tidbits out there of the gijinkas for fun and people ended up liking them (alongside my swsh team at the time!!) and despite me doing nuzlockes prior, this was really the start of my dedication to making them more complete characters. every nuzlocke over time as progressively offered more of the "journey", and compared to what i do now with platinum 2, their content is relatively sparse, but it all started here! i wouldn't probably be making a comic now without them (and you all!) which is crazy to think about but here we are.

POKEDDEXY DAY 2: DARK TYPE — YORU (SHIFTRY)

A bashful Shinobi with a fascination for explosives, Yoru keeps his distance from most until his assistance is needed. He stays wary of his teammates when battling, as he knows from first hand experience how brutal too close of a Seed Bomb is. While self conscious of his missing arm, one mistake made for a lifetime of practice to prevent it from happening again.

When in loungewear, his long hair often hides the silhouette of his body and shrouds his face more. Very prone to blushing.

Yoru is the first character to debut from my Pokemon Ruby team! The rest should be rolling out over the span of this challenge. >:)

and we're back! i'm sayin hi to everyone who has returned to another year and welcoming new people who are doing this for the first time!! hi everyone!!! i hope this year's pokeddexy is full of fun~

we didn't get PLZ info this year, so i'm switching out my planned Kalos-only theme for BUG-ONLY THEME 🐛🪲🐞🐜!!! i've been more and more into Bug-types recently and i want to take this lack-of-a-new-game opportunity to just have some fun~ i hope to share the love love of bug bugs with everyone

we're starting with Tarountula! i selected from single-type Bugs only and this little guy won solely because the shiny coloration is so clever. runner-ups include Karrablast, Grubbin, and Nymble

the process for my miraidon & koraidon (indigo & sienna) designs...they are probably my fave legendary ocs ;_; the latest is on top, and the last one is the draft i started with (featuring their parents , morow & yor).
