So I'm a media student, right? And this semester I'm taking a videogame course where we're working towards making our own videogame. It runs twice: first semester the comp-sci students mostly take the class and second semester (this semester) the media students mostly take it.

Anyway, it was my first session of the course today and the tutor explained that he had taken all design elements out of the course to replace with AI because people had complained about having to design assets last semester. So, he made us get all assets from AI and explained to a bunch of graphic design and art students that AI was better because there's no copyright. THIS, was a major mistake on his behalf because I watched in real time as all the media students stopped doing what they were doing, looked up from their phones, and just stared at the tutor for the sheer audacity of removing the DESIGN aspect from a DESIGN COURSE.

That is to say we're designing our own game assets now because the media students all revolted. I think the moral here is that AI isn't the definitive because even the media students were pissed off and won despite how we'd rather bite our hands off than use photoshop.

It’s the fact that Etho told Bdubs not to play King of the Ladder. It’s the fact that Bdubs has no way to take that except as a rejection and Etho has no way to tell him that it’s to protect him, that he can’t stand to watch Bdubs go out before him again .
