Because in all 50 states in the US it is legal for Christian schools (or any private religious school for that matter) to expel LGBTQ+ students (including aro and ace, anyone who’s not allo cishet) the moment it’s found out their LGBTQ+

Christian schools can also expel students for wearing pride merch or rainbows, or being an ally

Christian school teachers and students can say homophobic and transphobic slurs in class without consequences and encourage the use of these slurs

They can promote, encourage, and even expect a hatred and dehumanization of all LGBTQ+ folks

I attended two christian schools in high school (I homeschooled outside that), one was a small Baptist school with 60 high schoolers and the other was the largest Christian school in the state (protestant/non-denominational), and they both had a policy that they would instantly expel anyone who was LGBTQ+ or “promoted it” (pride pins, being a strong ally, etc.) and forced LGBTQ+ students into the closet, and this is sadly not uncommon in religious schools
