Chernobyl and Folly

Saw someone on the exe continued wiki saying that Chernobyl reminded them of Folly (I’m assuming they meant Folly) so I did some art of the two ~Dawn

It’s also kind of funny now that I realise that they are somewhat similar. Both got betrayed by people they trusted, they’re both got extremely bad trust issues and their victims (for Chernobyl’s case Knuckles and Folly’s Melanie) both got beheaded.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Edit 17/05/2025: looks like tumblr has a character limit so unfortunately I can't upload it here. I'll still upload it to other websites though. So happy to announce that after a 4-5 months chapter 1 of Sonic & Friends: Project Chernobyl is finally finished and is coming out soon. Honestly as much as it was hard to write on some days it was all worth it. I've practically had this idea since I was 14/15 and now years later I'm finally able to share it. I would go on a rant but I don't want it to be too long. I'm planning on releasing it at least a few days from now. This is mostly to do a spelling and grammar check because knowing me I've probably misspelled something. Also I’m taking a quick break just to compose myself from all the writing I’ve done. I am planning on releasing on the following websites (I am planning on doing more but I am focusing on these ones. I'll do a separate post with all the links to said places, I'm not going to force you to read them on all sites.): - Here (Of course) - AO3 - Unvale - EXE Continued Wiki Can't wait for you guys to read it. Been a while since I’ve drawn Feldeltá. Honestly, haven’t had that much motivation to draw him since I’ve mostly been focusing on my exe story. I’ll try to draw them more but I can’t promise.

(Ignore this part but I just realised I drew him with 5 fingers instead of 4. Just shows that I clearly haven’t drew him in a while. I replaced the photo so that he now has 4 instead of 5.)

The Holy Enforcer

Piracy. That’s one of the most horrible sins to mankind especially to Sega. At least that’s what Guardian says. It’s for the greater good for his ‘Saviour’ but his ways of doing it could be considered unholy. He doesn’t care. All he cares is that he ‘purifies’ the ‘sinners’.

(Been listening to No Party a lot more recently so I wanted to do a sonic mix of it. I picked Knuckles because I’d thought it fit especially considering what I named him.) ~Dawn

Shadow And Kriz Have A Moment -

It’s kind of hard to realise that your whole life has been a lie. Especially a life that Shadow has been through. His whole thing with Maria’s death and his whole background with Black Doom and Gerald. So he decided to confide that to Kriz and of course Kriz listened like a good friend. Totally not planning on backstabbing him only because she wants her father’s attention.

(I decided to give Magistr and Kriz more victims besides Sonic. I also decided to make Shadow the host for Kriz instead of Sonic because I didn’t want two Sonic exes and actually wanted to create a Shadow exe.) ~Dawn

Officially onto the second f/o. I’ve still got some more to do and admittedly I have been write two at a time but I ended up finishing this one first so here you go. ~Dawn

Note: I will be placing some headcanons (might add some more over time if I think of any) so if you don't like it or don't agree that's totally fine just don't be an ass about it. Also if you're non-sharing with the character I'm writing for and are uncomfortable with it that's also fine and acceptable. Mike Stoughton:

- Is this a safe space to say I prefer Mike over Steven? Don’t get me wrong I still love Steven I just prefer his brother over him. I blame the fan art of him /j.

Some HC’s:

- I headcanon him as Pansexual, Genderqueer and uses he/any pronouns. Honestly I see him as the type of person to just like anyone regardless of gender. For his gender + pronouns admittedly it is a little self projection but at the same time I’d like to think he doesn’t care about how he looks or what gender people perceive him as. He just goes with the flow.

- He’s more of a natural ginger compared to his hair colour in hypno’s lullaby albeit a bit darker. This mostly stemmed from a fanart done by jaxspicerr on twitter (not sure if he has tumblr) of Steven with orange/ginger hair and I thought he looked absolutely gorgeous with it so I decided to apply it to both him and Mike.

- Obviously since he’s dead he’s a ghost but I like to think he can change his looks to what he looked like before he died plus some marks on his neck from when he got strangled. Ngl this is just an excuse for me to draw both alive and dead Mike. I’m not sure if there’s a specific term for it though.

- I headcanon him as part Japanese/Korean. What’s the other part? Not sure entirely, still trying to figure it out but regardless I headcanon him as part Japanese/Korean.

- He’s a little shit. I love him but he really is. He’s a massive tease especially towards friends and family. He just cannot keep his mouth shut to save his life. I wouldn’t suggest telling him a secret unless you want it to spread to practically everyone. That’s just how he shows his love towards people.

- That being said he can be serious. Despite what he did to him he does deeply care for his brother. He’s pretty much protective over him and is willing to defend him. That’s just how he is. Considering they aren’t that far in age I can imagine the two doing loads of things together and practically can’t do something if the other isn’t there. You know normal things siblings do before the incident at least.

- Has a sensitive neck due to him getting strangled to death.

- Due to his sensitive neck he tends to avoid wearing anything like necklaces, scarfs, t-shirts that are close to the neck like turtlenecks. He might if it’s loose but overall he tries to avoid them in general. If he can even wear them.

- Also due to him getting strangled to death he also has some breathing issues. You’d think with him being a ghost he’d be fine minus being dead but does find himself having some struggles when it comes to his breathing, especially when his neck getting touched in any way which combined with his neck being sensitive makes it worse for him.

- He can easily get distracted and tends to zone out a lot.

- As I said he’s a little shit. One thing he likes to do both once he was alive and especially now that he’s dead was scaring people. He was really good at it when he was alive, almost too good. Now that he’s a ghost it just makes it easier for him. He can use his ghost form to fade in and out of things making it easy to get ahead or behind people quicker to scare them.

- I know this is supposed to be about Mike but I like to think Steven dyes his hair to what it is in the lullaby mod at least partially. That being said he likes to ask for Mike to dye it for him. Sometimes Mike likes to use the remaining dye on his own hair so the two are matching.

For How Him And Dawn (My Sona) Met:

- For how he and Dawn met I like to think that they actually met due to her reviving him though it did turn him into a ghost. I’m not sure if it’s confirmed but I believe that after Steven murdered Mike he decided to go into hiding out of genuine guilt. Again I’m not sure if this is confirmed or not but that’s what I like to believe because of angst. Anyways, Dawn managed to stumble upon the brothers house due to them exploring. When she saw his body she decided to use whatever alien-like powers (I haven’t really fleshed out my sona’s powers besides shapeshifting so be patient with me lol) to ‘revive’ him. Though she did technically revive him she more or less just turned him into a ghost. At first she didn’t think it worked and that it was too late but then she heard him speak behind her in an echo-like voice.

- Funny thing was or maybe not was that Dawn just felt like reviving him. Mostly because it was just a thought though she was sympathetic for him due to him being dead.

- At first Mike honestly couldn’t believe that he was ‘alive’ in a way. His first thoughts were that and the look that his brother had in his face as he took his life away. But then he notices a ‘human’ in front of them and was a little speechless before asking who they were and of course Dawn explained themselves in the best way possible without revealing that she’s an alien. And for some reason Mike just…accepts it? I mean he is a little suspicious but considering he’s in a universe where creatures have powers and people use said creatures for battles he doesn’t really have that much room for when it comes to questioning. Though he does find her cool.

Some Scenarios About Mike + Dawn:

- When it comes to Mike finding out that Dawn is an alien I’d think it definitely took him a while to figure it out. I mean he did think about if they actually did or not exist but he or someone else quickly shut it down so he didn’t think about it any further. Plus I’d think it would be funny that when Dawn does try to reveal that she is one after sometime he just thinks she’s talking bad about herself and tries to assure her that she’s not and that she’s beautiful. This admittedly made Dawn confused though a little frustrated. Eventually though she does manage to convince him but had to use her shapeshifting abilities to shift into her true form for him to get it. When he does he just has an ‘oh shit’ moment and immediately feels bad for not listening to her and for comforting her at the start because he didn’t want her to think he was insinuating that she was ugly but Dawn does forgive him for not realising.

- Once he does finally comprehend that Dawn is an alien he immediately asks a bunch of questions. I’d like to think he’s just a naturally curious person so he has to ask many questions towards Dawn like what specific species she was? What were her abilities besides shapeshifting? Can she shapeshift into this? On and on he asks but Dawn doesn’t mind it in fact she’s more than happy to answer and it kind of gives her an excuse to rant as well since she’s pretty much forced to keep it to herself due to her trying to blend in.

- Due to him being a ghost he can pretty much go anywhere he likes but does find himself in forests or graveyards. He doesn’t really know why he does find himself there he just does. So when he hears that Dawn is coming to visit he likes to try and hide in the most random places so that Dawn can find him when she comes.

- As I said in my headcanons he’s really good at scaring people both when alive and especially a ghost. That being said, he likes to try and scare Dawn once in a while. I say try because he fails every time he attempts to. Due to Dawn being an alien being/getting scared is like the most tame thing to her compared to humans. Mike does get a little disappointed when she doesn’t get scared but it doesn’t stop him from trying. Even if it’s his 1000th time doing it he still thinks there’ll be a chance when he succeeds.

- I personally like to think that Mike is really clingy even when he’s a ghost. He just really likes to hug people like a koala. Surprisingly he’s got a strong grip so it’s pretty hard to leave him. That said he really likes to cling onto Dawn though he mostly does it in his ‘human’ form since he’ll just phase through her in his ghost form. Though he does ask her to be careful when it comes to his neck to which she is knowing how sensitive he is.
