"Is it different swimming as a mermaid than as a human?"

As the water rose, Marie hugged her aunt. She trusted her not to let go and let her sink, but still, the princess couldn't help but feel nervous.

The story of Queen Elsa's coronation had reached their little kingdom not long after the event.

Marie-Alexandra had been horrified at the thought of something similar happening to her. True she had no magic, unless you counted having a fairy godmother as having magic.

But still, the thought was terrifying.

"It can be," Marie-Alexandra admitted, she didn't want to complain. She understood that as a princess having friends her own age would always be difficult.

"I like going out to the farmhouse though, it's nice, and everyone is friendly and not just because I'm the princess."
