new xavier memory thoughts: they be sticking lore and serious character development into these memories now! this memory basically takes place sometime after prologue to tomorrow, which it directly references heavily.

this memory shows a direct conflict point between xavier and mc! like, this memory basically is a pivot point for their relationship, where xavier has to decide if he can open up and trust her. she's totally not going to let him keep her in the dark and let him have a relationship with her.

are they in a situationship at the moment? like, this makes it feel almost like 21 days could happen after this? it could be that 21 days happened first, but that memory felt like a pivot point in their relationship becoming more than a situationship?

mc and xav are definitely not giving stable relationship at the moment, which totally fits with the Charlie storyline, the jealousy, their role-playing. it also makes me think that the night in the hotel under the "influence" of the "protocore" happened before 21 days.

how long are they flirting and falling into bed together before they actually officially end up together?

all in all, i actually really like that this memory forces a conversation on trust, has mc pushing back against xavier's desire to hide things to protect her, and opens up more of xavier's flaws.

it also feels like this is leading up to something serious in the main story, seeing how tied into xavier's most current appearance it is.
