if varric ended up being one of the first people in thedas to get really into publishing with a mechanical printing press (bc bianca invented it) then i think it would be neat if

varric gave anders like an early model, slightly janky prototype printing press to churn out his manifesto leaflets with.

none of these things happened,

he did not reveal this while being questioned by cassandra. bc it is firstly, directly implicating him and bianca in spreading Volatile Heretical Material (uhhh literally volatile perhaps too? fjsdfh), and secondly, he feels guilty about both giving anders the printing press, and not talking to him more after giving it to him.

a lot of the rebel mages scattered around have these distinctly fucked up looking original batch prints of anders' manifesto, tucked into a pocket somewhere as a keepsake.

Yes, this is our Ancient Arlathan AU, existing for a very long time, since January actually. Elanor is a personal servant of Mythal, originally she was a very young spirit of Compassion which Elgar'nan forcefully took out of the Fade and created a body for her to present her as a gift for his wife, Mythal.

Nerien is a born elvhen woman (200+ years), who is a slave in Dirthamen's palace (she wears his vallaslin). "Work, work... and work" – that's her everyday routine for all her life.

And Solas is... well, Solas. Not Fen'Harel yet. Right hand and spymaster of Mythal.

And this all just a sort of melodrama, I assure you. We have a few AU with this polycule, but this one is the most huge (including chronology) and well-written.
