A short while ago I went through and repriced all my necklace options as I’ve adjusted to the process of offering more than just chain necklaces. If you were looking to purchase a charm with a specific necklace, or just wanted one on its own, and it wasn’t quite within reach for you at the time, make sure to take a look!

Everything is getting restocked for the holidays and a couple of new items should hopefully arrive by the end of the month. Information on when you should be ordering stuff for specific holidays will be posted soon. With the shift from First Class mail to Ground Advanced, shipments on average take about 2 days more than they used to, so this will be taken into consideration when setting the “last call” dates.

hello! my shop is slogbites on etsy. i post anything ive already made thats ready to ship on there. you can also dm me on there to work out details for customization on orders or a custom listing (this includes working out commission details, but you can also do that with me directly on here through non anon asks, the messaging system, or emailing me) the cat commission you likely found me through was actually a reward tier i did for my kickstarter campaign to raise funds to get a pressure pot. i do not have the time right this second to take on a commission on the same level (it took almost a whole month to finish), but if you're looking for a quote or want more information about the process, feel free to reach out to me at any time :)

This one was a really special piece. Someone early on picked up the Custom Kitty tier, which meant they could ask for effectively anything their heart desired as long as it was a cat and a 3in figure. This person specifically requested a memorial piece for their emotional support animal, and I adore doing sentimental pieces for people and their family members.

I'm particularly proud of the color layering on this one, her colors look slightly different depending on the lighting she's in.

She was a very, very well loved cat, and I put my all into it. She made her way home safely, and has a nice comfortable spot to bask in :D

The finalized Mushroom Cat. I was deeply worried I wouldn't be able to match the colors of the design when I started on it, but the final result has left me VERY proud. Much like their Abyss counterparts, these guys are black-light reactive B)

Merry Spooky! For those who haven’t been keeping up with my campaign, I’m gonna do a few posts interspersed through the next week with all the wips and final works I totally thought I had posted on here but after having actually looked realized that No, No I have Not, The short of it is:

Abyss Cats are done

Mushroom Cats are done

The custom cat that was ordered is done and has arrived at its destination

Industrial Cats are still in the works and should be ready before the end of November

Cats are expected to get listed in the shop for all people who missed the campaign late December-early January

When the cats are listed I’ll give more information on stuff like quantity and prices, in the mean time just enjoy the pretty pictures to come :)

etsy rolled out a new feature it looks like that gives sellers an opportunity for a 4% reimbursement on fees associated with sales if the sale is made through specialized (i presume tracking) links you can generate for your shop. i dont think this is necessarily a bad thing, but im someone who heavily believes everyone has the right to as much privacy as possible online, so unless im explicitly asked otherwise by someone looking to purchase from me, ill always be using direct links to my listing and shops. im sure theres gonna be some fuss making its rounds at some point because the way they worded the new feature is pretty poor and can be easily misunderstood, but i did want to make sure that anyone interested in my work does know that im not going to be participating or enabling the new feature, and if i ever do ill be very transparent about it lol

i love when sites add features like "achievements" and "badges" and dont proactively keep tabs on your existing site stats because now im just gonna get a bunch of badges for milestones i passed years ago but not when i would expect to get them also hey does anyone know if i can change the editor font to sans serif this is awful

uhhhh 27? (for the ask game) i'm curious if other people do actual warmups, cuz my "warmups" are usually just finishing details on a piece i left unfinished from my last drawing session before starting something new.

yeah its pretty dependent on what im about to get started with, but for drawing in specific ive gotten into the habit of quick wrist, elbow, and shoulder stretches then scribbling on scrap paper i have nearby. like literal scribbling, nothing coherent. it's made it easier to dive in when i do have to start working on anything illustrated i have to do and i find i get frustrated less quickly when working on something i REALLY dont want to work on XD

3) a lot of my creature and monster designs are actually updated versions of stuff i came up with when i was under ~12. i was busting them out like pokemon and theres so many of them that arent getting any use im just constantly looking for ways to repurpose them lol 14) anything macabre or on the dark side of things. if i had to pick A Theme to follow for something like an art exhibit itd be memento mori because i love the grim and gruesome and thats often what we use when reminding people of their mortality
