I'm through accepting limits
12 posts
Ridiculously obsessed with crossovers, because they tend to bring something new to the table. First one I ever read was a Gundam Wing x Harry Potter, and it's all down hill from there. This space is for me to ramble about the stories I'm writing, even the unpublished ones.

RL sneaks in sometimes
I haven’t forgotten about TurnTheStone. Life has been a bit topsy-turvy this week with the foot of snow we’ve gotten. I don’t do well with changes to my daily routine and have been next to useless. Expect Heero’s chapter sometime in the next couple days.

Be patient with me as I work on TTS chapter 8. I’ve got a few moments of Heero interacting with who he ends up chilling with for the month, but I need to turn it into a coherent chapter with nice flow.

The MCU timeline gives me hives
Turn The Stone Ch 6 Notes:
The MCU timeline is the bane of my existence. They've tried to fix it, but kinda made it worse. So for those of you who are wondering about my lovely little AU timeline going on here: I know that CA:CW happened much more rapidly them I'm implying in the story but I needed it to all basically happen almost at the same time, so I'm taking artistic liberties. For the confused, in my story, Lepzig-Halle happened. Tony immediately brought his 'team' home, and while he was back in NYC, Spiderman:Homecoming MOSTLY happens. This is in a two week gap while Tony is building ExoSkeleton version 1 for Rhodey, and Peter's Karen suit. Then he gets word from FRIDAY about Zemo, and Siberia happens. Tony comes home from Siberia, gets help from Dr. Cho for his new shiny chest wound, and basically hares off to CA without seeing anyone but Rhodey for a last goodbye. From the Lepzig-Halle fight to the start of CH 1 of Turn the Stone, it’s just shy of a month.

Link
Lovelies, I have guys galore in 'Turn the Stone' and it's sequels. I need some younger ladies to balance it out, and I'm not familiar with Marvel outside the MCU. So I'm leaving it to you to help me decide who to add to Team Iron Brigade(Gundam 5, Peter, spoiler persons) in TTS's sequel. (Winning vote does not mean automatic inclusion, it just means more research for me) Clicking the link above will take you to the poll page, because I can’t tumblr enough to figure out how to embed it on this page.

Internet of awesome
When I write, I tend to get nitpicky about the littlest thing. I just spent 3 hours (including a 30 minute debate with the cat) researching and planning a character’s family tree, in various incarnations, just for the next chapter of ‘Turn the Stone’.  Guys, I don’t put this much planning into the work I’m legit *paid* to do.

Winter Soldier raises Tony Stark (AU)
When Bucky Barnes is sent to kill the Starks, he does so easily until he sees their baby son in the back seat. Unable to kill him, he escapes with the child.
Living a life on the run, Bucky slowly breaks out of his Hydra conditioning and raises the boy as his own. As Tony grows, their bond only grows stronger, even as Bucky stops ageing.

Well, fuq.
I'm rather obsessively fond of crossovers, have been since I discovered what fan fiction WAS. I will attempt to cross any two fandom in my head that I like, just to test my limits. Some work better then others, like fast and furious with chronicles of riddick, as opposed to dr who and the x-files. My current predicament? Mentally testing the possibility of a new crossover, and liking my main pairing so much they've just accidentally become an OTP...even when thinking up story ideas in the fandom so solo, I can't bear to pair anyone with either person. Shitballs, people. Shitballs.

Emotional entropy
So I find that whatever mood I'm in tends to color my stories, both the ones I read and the one I write. Thus, I try to avoid writing when I"m in a depressed mood. All that comes out otherwise is angst.
APOM has been the opposite. I came to work today in a bad mood, decided to work on the sad parts of APOM, but couldn't find my muse. Instead, I started working linearly on the next chapter, and voila! Bad mood gone!

Alternating POVs
Sometimes I have to write a part of a story in another character's view point, to make sure I have my main character doing what I think they're doing...

I want to write a story where Cloud is the villian, not Sephiroth. Like, maybe he goes nuts in Nibelheim, and Sephiroth has to kill him and Zach is all "I'm sorry I failed you too, Spike!" and Cloud's like "Yeah, I'm gonna murder them both, pretentious bastards, and destroy the planet, with my Mother's help."

Effing Crossovers
Now I wanna write a different story then the one I'm working on...because it hasn't been done before. I wanna write a story where pre-timeskip (maybe just post Chuunin exams) Naruto is like, 'fuq this shiz', and leaves Konoha, and ends up in the FFVIII world, and totally becomes Zell (Cuz food obsessions, and martial arts, and facial markings, and hyperness and blonds!). Ma Dincht takes him in and teaches him the language, and he goes to Balamb, and everyone finds out during Time Compression that he wasn't at the orphanage with them and are like da fuq? And he's like, 'yeah, hidden countries and ninjas'. and they're like. 'huh, cool.' and everything is cool, and then Madara drops a fucking Meteor on the hidden continent, and the survivers (mostly ninja) find their way to the other world and Zell is like 'yeah, i can tranx.' and that's as far as I got.
