not sure how to get people's attention anymore but i have to ask you all to support @ma7moudgaza2. i've shared his fundraisers multiple times before -- and the last couple ones were donation match requests that did not get any attentions; some other bloggers made illustrations and posters; and there is an ongoing raffle for his benefit too (please check it out, it's a beautiful piece.) still, it is going so very slow.
so i simply want to appeal to your sensibility: mahmoud managed to get a tent thanks to the support, but his next goal is to buy a solar energy system so that his family can light up their tent and charge their phones. they need $2800 asap and so far they got just around $500 of that amount in longer than a week.
this is a verified campaign.
the amount indicated on gofundme does not correspond with the current short-term goal! so please just keep donating & sharing and check @ma7moudgaza2's updates on his blog.

ALHAW FAMILY UPDATE
Tumblr media
The fundraiser currently sits at €33,119/€90,000. They still have about 2/3rds of the way to go!
Eman took her kids to get their first round of vaccines for polio. She says that the bombings haven't really stopped despite the supposed "humanitarian pauses" put in place to allow the vaccination campaign to run.
Living is expensive for them. Please donate and share. They are depending on your support to survive!

if you are feeling hopeless or uncertain about how things are going, one very sure thing you can do is donate to families in gaza. a tangible, real act you can do is put aside money you would have spent on a coffee toward a family. one such family is @danashehab and her family.
the Shehab family needs to raise €85k to evacuate. this would be enough to evacuate Reem, Fahed, their children and Fahed's sister's family. the goal had to be raised from €50k to €85k, which they had not met. currently they have raised €47,804/€85,000 (time of: sept. 4th).
this is a vetted fundraiser. Reem and her family are people who need our help. who we have real actions we can do to help them. donate. share. please, donate.

genuinely don’t understand people who trigger tag the crimes iof is committing in Palestine. don’t give me that “I came on here to have fun” type shit. the depth of apathy you have to be in order to think of that tag and type it out is unfathomable.
my friends’ families have been starving for months. my friend lost contact with his family because of a bombing at his camp yesterday and this has happened every two or three days for the past month.
this is SUPPOSED to make you feel uncomfortable. the u.s. is actively arming warplanes and manufacturing 1-ton bombs that literally incinerate anything within the blast radius. drones follow children around wherever they go. iof planes has been targeting water distribution centers, bread lines, and schools for almost an year now.
what can we say to make you understand this is something you have to help with, because you are benefitting from global imperialism and the violent subjugation and genocide of a people? why do you only feel like virtual signaling when you clearly don’t believe it? what does it take for you to CARE about children and families bombed and injured and dead just for lining up for bread?
anyway PLEASE donate to Hazem, his parents after the bombings asked him to increase their goal to 70k because his 5 younger siblings are extremely malnourished. the family only received €40 in the past 4 hours, donate what you can
€50,972 /€70,000 needed for survival ASAP. don’t turn a blind eye.

Night in the Shadow of Genocide🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last night I lived in my tent, where the surrounding silence had become dark. Suddenly, this silence was interrupted by the sound of a heavy Apache helicopter, which was flying over us with its distinctive and annoying sound. The sound expressed deep anxiety, as if the helicopter was looming over our heads, which made the atmosphere even more tense. At that moment, my feelings wandered in a wide horizon of fear and anxiety. I imagined that the Israeli army might be close, and that we were in an area that might be threatened. I was trying to calm myself down while I was worried about my family, especially my elderly father and mother who were with me in the tent.
My father was sitting close to me, and he seemed to be trying to ease my fear with his calm appearance, but his eyes did not hide the tension he was feeling. As for my mother, she was breathing heavily, and it was clear that she was worried, and I could see signs of exhaustion on her face. I tried to reassure them as much as possible, although my heart was filled with anxiety and fear.
Although I tried to stay calm and reassure my parents, the feeling of threat still overcame me. I watched the sky through a small opening in the tent, hoping that the sound would fade away and calm would return to our surroundings.
As time passed, the plane gradually began to move away, and its sound continued to fade until it disappeared completely. I felt relieved, but the fear that had gripped me did not completely disappear. Eventually, we waited until everything calmed down, and began to try to go back to sleep, although anxiety remained with us.
It was clear that this night would remain in my memory, so please stop the genocidal war, please help us save our lives

this is not normal. Palestinian students the same age as me or in many cases even YOUNGER shouldn’t have to be online 24/7 advocating for their families just so they have some money to buy food and buy a tent after their old one was destroyed by a drone strike. please don’t be desensitized by this. there is an onslaught of atrocities being committed by israel every single day but we have to keep standing up for Palestinians.
the students on my dash… they’re all so young they have aspirations they have hopes. but now they need to wake up at the crack of dawn to line up at the food distribution center not knowing if there’s a sniper somewhere watching them. this is horrific

Boosting for Ola! I've reblogged from her before at @olagaza she has been verified by @/90-ghost and is also featured on @/nabulsi and @/el-shab-hussien's vetted fundraiser list so please don't hesitate to help if you can. Ola's family (consisting of her parents, 3 sisters, and brother) has been struggling to survive in north Gaza, they were forced to leave their home and food/clean water are expensive and scarce. Right now her campaign is at $43,930 of the $50,000 goal which isn't very far off. The bare minimum you can donate is $5 and it's important to remember a little bit goes a long way. If you can please donate if not reblog/share. I'll link Ola's gfm below as well as her pinned so that can be shared as well.

Big fan of characters realizing they don't get to die. They have to live. And grow. And be a person. And deal with shit they thought they'd never have to. And be fucked up about it. I would like more of this. Enough dying for honor or as redemption. It ain't. You're just a corpse. There is no moral value in dirt time.
