can we please quash the idea that a dragon HAS to have triple gem genes to be worth anything. it’s boring, in all honesty? make your dragons look good, don’t just drown them in money.  treasure genes may cost less but good lord they’re not worth less. 

sure, sometimes triple gem genes look the best!  but something that’s poison/stripes/capsule can also look killer and it may be the only gene combo that actually looks good.

also? basic is a gorgeous gene and sometimes it’s just the best option. sometimes you need a nice blank area to contrast and compliment a super busy gene.
