I want a plot of this girl that gets front row tickets to her favorite singer/bands concert. She expected it to be a cute date between her and the guy she’s seeing but he ends up ditching her for another girl. Still she goes to the concert determined to have fun. Everything is sort of depressing for her until her favorite band member/the singer notices a missing seat next to her. So he asks her about it and there’s this little exchange where she explains that she got ditched for another girl. It’s so completely unacceptable for such a pretty girl to be alone at a concert so he calls her on stage and tells her, “video me serenading you so the douche knows what he’s missing.” Except it doesn’t end in just a one time serenade. A cute friendship blossoms and they end up texting and calling each other all the time. Next thing they know he’s asking her on a date!! :))

Muse A and Muse B are successful actresses and costars in a romance drama. The movie is an instant success and the actresses are praised for their performance and on screen chemistry. The trouble is, unknown to most, the chemistry between them is actually a little more honesty than acting. Muse B is young, single, and oblivious to Muse A’s growing feelings. While Muse A has been happily married for several years and so conflicted and confused by her new and strong attraction. Playing lovers on set was an easy outlet for building emotions but now that they are traveling and promoting post premier it’s getting harder for Muse A to ignore.

BADLANDS inspired plots – PART ONE [disclaimer: despite how these plots are presented, they are meant to be used as any pairing you choose]

CASTLE - muse a is a young girl who is studying abroad in [insert foreign country of your choice here] with two of her closest friends from college. muse b is the prince of said foreign country and is getting ready to take the thrown since his father is ill and only has a limited time left to live. muse a and muse b end up crossing paths somehow and he is falls madly in love with this wild child from america. when he decides that she’s who he wants to marry, he has to prepare her for life as a future royal (and the future queen of the country). but it doesn��t end there. muse a also has to win the approval of muse b’s father, who is always telling her to censor herself and to behave like a proper lady. can muse a be the queen that muse b’s country deserves? or will she decide it’s too much and go running for the hills?

HOLD ME DOWN - muse a is a straight up druggie and works at a strip club somewhere in new york. muse b is part of the bachelor party for his brother which is taking place at this strip club, which is how he sees and becomes infatuated with her. he sees her talking with the owner of the club (who also whores her out in exchange for feeding her drug habits) and can tell that this man is just destroying her life. he keeps coming back to the club and pays for private dances just so he can talk to her and try and get her out of this life she is living, knowing that it will eventually kill her. muse a finds herself falling for muse b and quits her job at the club which doesn’t sit well with her boss. now they are on the run from the man who claims to own her and both their lives are in danger. will love lead them to safety or will she fall back into the life that once held her captive?

NEW AMERICANA - muse a and muse b are both college students living in southern california, getting ready to graduate and start the rest of their lives. they walk around getting high all day and listening to old school music, knowing that they will never fit in with the rest of the world. but when muse a finally gets her dream job as a fashion designer and creates her own line, everything changes. she doesn’t smoke anymore, she doesn’t go to grungy night clubs anymore and muse b feels like he hardly knows the girl he claims to love. he tries to bring her back down to earth but it never works, muse a always claiming she never has the time. their relationship goes through ups and downs and finally muse b walks away and leaves muse a alone in her new self-made world. it’s then that she realizes all the money and success in the world means nothing when you have no one to share it with. but will she win muse b back or will it be far too late?

DRIVE - muse a and muse b just graduated high school and are free for a long, hot summer. they have been dating since junior year and have never been more in love than they are now. on a whim, the two lovebirds decide to take a roadtrip from southern california to seattle, wanting to see all of the state they call home together as well as exploring some new ones. on this road trip they really get to know one another and learn things they never knew before, some of it good and some of it really really bad. will the young lovers survive the road trip or will they slam the brakes on and decide that this isn’t what they wanted after all?

HURRICANE - muse a is an innocent young flower who moved from a small town down south to the bustling city of new york for college [or for a job if you want them to be older]. she comes across muse b one night when she attends a poetry slam, hoping to meet some people like her and make some friends. he reads his poetry and speaks such wisdom that it disarms everyone in the room, including her. upon getting to know more about him, she realizes that he’s the type her parents warned her about; drugs, alcohol and tattoos. but she sees something in him and they have a very passionate and sexual affair, never putting a label on what they are. but when muse a’s family gets wind of it and wants to move her back home and stop the behaviors she’s been exhibiting, muse b has to try and stop it from happening. will he be able to keep her or will her interfering family ruin the first chance at love he ever had?

ROMAN HOLIDAY - muse a is the textbook definition of an insomniac, never sleeping at night and always going on late night adventures. on these adventures to local convenience stores, she meets muse b who works the overnight shift to make more money. she becomes a regular and she ends up waiting for him to get off so they can go on these adventures together. they do everything from sneaking into public pools to driving out of town and exploring new places where no one knows who they are. they fall in love and before they know it, muse a is able to sleep again and muse b finds the inspiration he’s needed to finally finish school make a better life for himself. but muse a’s family doesn’t approve of muse b and his family doesn’t think highly of her either…which only gets worse when muse a discovers she’s pregnant but suffers a miscarriage shortly after. the two lovebirds drift apart and muse a’s insomnia creeps back in. can they go back to who they were on those late night adventures or did the real world push them past the point of no return?

i want to have a plot where ballerina/bad boy and she has very strict parents and they force to dedicate her life to dancing which she agrees to until she meets a boy who smokes a lot, gets into a lot of fights, and always has a cocky smile on his face. but she doesn’t mind because he makes her feel like she isn’t someone’s doll anymore, like a normal person.

Muse A was in an accident and falls into a coma. Suddenly stuck in an out of body experience they find themselves face to face with Muse B, the only other person in the entire hospital who can see them. Turns out Muse B has been in a coma for four months and is just as shocked to suddenly be seen as well. Muse B shows Muse A the ropes and for two people in comas they really shouldn’t be having this much fun around the hospital. Muse A is broken up over their relatives at their bedside but Muse B doesn’t seem to ever have any visitors. Muse A starts to wonder more and more about Muse B but Muse B doesn’t like to talk about themselves. It’s doomed from the start but the pair quickly fall in love. While Muse A’s condition is improving,  Muse B takes a turn for the worst. Muse B urges Muse A to keep fighting because they have a chance to wake up and stay alive and they’ll be damned if they let Muse A waste their life on them.

                                                        :For the Good Of the Kingdom:

Muse A is the newly married wife to the King of their land. As Queen there are certain duties she must perform. Such as managing the castle, hosting diplomats and other royalty, and, most importantly, provide the kingdom with an heir. But try as she might, and how often, Muse A can’t seem to get pregnant at all.

Desperate, and fearing the wrath of her husband if she doesn’t give him a child, she turns to her trusted knight and confidant Muse B for help. He looks enough like the King or his family for it to pass. And as long as she continued to have sex with her husband, and they were careful, no one would be the wiser. After much pleading a reluctant Muse B agrees and the pair conspirer their affair in secret to give the kingdom what it wants.

so what about a soulmate AU based on the five senses, so everyone finds their soulmate through one of the five sense; taste, touch, smell, sight or sound. Some people can hear laughter or snatches of unfamiliar words, while others almost catch a glimpse of a person who isn’t there. Ghost touches are also common, or feeling warm when it isn’t. People getting tricked into waking up to the smell of coffee but then remembering they are living alone. People having certain foods explode with flavours that make them think of a home they haven’t yet found.

forget the fake dating plots, give me the fake engagement plots because it’s a hundred times more angst i mean?

when muse a has been telling their parents they’ve been seeing somebody and finally say they’re engaged to get them off their back, and then surprise!! the whole family ships out to meet the lucky person and they gotta suddenly scramble for a fake fiance/fiancee

when the person they ask is their friend and muse b has been secretly hiding that they actually have feelings but say yes just to get close to muse a and hopefully get rid of the feelings but god knows that doesn’t work

the moving in together and having to get used to sleepy faces and sleeping in the same room and awkwardly brushing their teeth in the morning but it eventually becomes very familiar and natural

meeting the family!!! listening to embarrassing stories and cute naked baby pics while muse a sits around moping bc “mooomm why are you showing these i asked you to burn these”

having to practice being affectionate so it looks real

“what do you mean kiss? right now? in front of the whole family?”

“kiss me right now in front of the whole family”

what becomes normal hand holding and touching even when they’re not in public

mom/grandmother bringing their old wedding dress and insisting muse b trying it on and it’s huge on her but the mom/grandmother is crying and muse a comes in and the dress is literally falling off muse b and their family members are crying in the corner

the family throwing a bridal shower and the couple casually cheating to win the newlywed game

actual bridal dress shopping!!! when muse b tries on ‘the dress’ and everybody is like omg…and muse a is like “shit shit these are real feelings ABORT MISSION ABORT MISSION”

when the family leaves and the two try and go back to normal but deny there are any real feelings :(

when muse a starts dating somebody else and their family is like “they’re okay but i liked muse b better”
