maybe space isn’t a place for people maybe that void is more for stars and unanswered questions maybe we were built with lungs that need oxygen to warn us no don’t go out there into the frozen dark the stars are pretty but maybe you’re going to find things that you don’t want to have found out here okay and isn’t it kind of marvelous that the human race has somehow taken the one place that we could never survive and made it survivable, tried to understand it despite the fact that it is the one creature in our world that bends away from science and logic and twists into something new each time we think we have made a rule that space must follow, isn’t this lawless void kind of oh so terrifying, and maybe it isn’t a place meant for people but I don’t think that’s going to stop us from going there anyways
