More immersive pet treats - Giving treats now requires Sims to go out and buy them!

My anniversary celebration gifts so far have given us players a treat, the sims a treat, and as a player that also enjoys having pets, I thought it might be nice to finish off by giving the pets a treat! :) I enjoy making my game more immersive, and giving my Sims reasons to go out and buy things in OFB businesses as well as more chores/responsibilities. Now if your Sims want to reward their adorable furbabies, they best get on down to the pet store and buy some delicious delectable pet goodies!

The original object used was by RetailSims, who kindly agreed to let me use her objects for my pet global mods. I have improved upon the mesh to include cat treats, remapped it a little and made it easier to recolor. I am not that great at photo-editing but thankfully the kind and generous @kashmiresims agreed to create some fresh new recolors for it, providing textures for cat/dog, big dogs, small dogs and cats :)

How the mod works 1. Mod impacts current family only, because maybe your visitors brought treats with them. I do that sometimes :P 2. Only impacts residential and apartment lots, so that if you encounter strays on community lots, or took a pet on vacation, you don't have to worry about it (unless it is an owned vacation home). 3. For active family to feed treats to pets on residential or apartment lots, they must have a treat bucket object present on the lot, with treats left. Every time you feed a pet a treat, the bucket capacity goes down. When it runs out, you have to buy a new one. 4. Default setting on bucket is 20 treats. It is controlled in BCON 1003 on the object, so if you want a different number you can easily change it :) The bucket is quite large, so 20 seems a little ridiculous, but I wanted your Sims to actually need to buy one every so often and 20 seemed a good compromise. A smaller version of the bucket will be coming eventually.

Conflicts: None that I know of. The bucket is a new object, separate from the original so you can have both.

Totally normal family: Alien Default Replacement

This one's for @enelea, but I think everyone could use it.

This is a default replacement for the alien skintone. It swaps the original green with a natural tone from Lilith's HoneyHoney set (S3). All credit goes to @lilith-sims – I just used her files and replaced the textures. I also added the alien eyes (only visible when regular eyes are missing).

As always with defaults: only one of each type in your game!

Energy Gain Determined by Aspiration Level

I hate how cheaper beds give less energy than more expensive ones, so I've used the same energy gain for any bed mod by Marhis for the longest time. But recently, I've started to feel like it's too cheaty. It makes my sims always sleep like logs!

So I came up with a solution that adds variation for all beds alike.

This mod entirely ties the energy gain to the sim's aspiration level. The lower the level is, the slower the energy bar will fill and vice versa; sims with their aspiration level well on the green side or above likely wake up refreshed.

Makes sense to me that happy sims sleep better than those close to the aspiration failure! The scale of the energy gain is about the same as between the cheapest and the most expensive maxis bed, so it's still well balanced too.

Just like Marhis' mod, this mod also makes children gain energy at a slower rate than older sims, to prevent them from waking up too early. Their aspiration level still affects the energy gain but the effect is smaller.

Multi-PT Set 1 (with infant faces!)

I've been wanting to do one of these for a while and I finally got around to doing it. This mod keeps the Maxis PT and adds three of my own making, complete with infant faces! One of them is just a Maxis face template with larger eyes and pointy ears, and the other two are various alien sims I created for my own game, just with all the CC removed.

This theoretically should be basegame compatible, none of them use assets from any of the expansions. I also tested to the birth of the babies and you can see the babies in the last 3 screenshots, in order of the parent (the victim sims had Face 2 so you can easily spot the differences in the infant faces).

While I am remembering to put stuff for download, I just remembered I said forever ago that I would share this terrain! (I think @niamh-sims asked for it?) Sorry it took me 6 months but here it is!

Driftwood is the terrain I use for my medieval character challenge - it's en edit of a maxis terrain (also called Driftwood, I didn't ever rename it so I just named the sc4 "katatty_driftwood" lol) although the changes are sustantial enough that there isn't actually much of the original terrain left, haha. There are two versions included, one is the "original" and one is the later edit I made to add more roads. Since roads can be added with the new SimPE now, I'll probably make furthur tweaks that way rather than firing up SimCity 4.

30 Celda RCs of @sunmoon-starfactory 's Cask Shelf

As you all know, I've basically stopped using "realistic" textures in my medieval Sims 2 game. But I wanted to keep using Sun and Moon's incredible pieces. This is the first step towards me being able to do that: 30 recolours of Sun and Moon's Cask Shelf. (And, thus, everything repoed to it.)

30 colours, taken from @pooklet's Naturals, @withlovefromsimtown's Neural Network colours, and @puppycrowrecolours 's palette. Full swatch under the cut.

Also, the Tonberry was caged by a professional. Don't try this at home, kids.
