Remember when we all thought Fishbones would be the vessel in which Silco's voice lived on in Jinx's mind? Fishbones is a sea monster with scarred lips, dark scar-like markings around his glowing eyes, a large, pointed nose, and was created by Jinx for Silco. He shows the same fatherly concern for Jinx and her reckless behavior that Silco shows in the show. Mylo and Vi's words to her haunted Jinx, unlike Fishbone's voice, and Silco uses his breath to comfort Jinx so he will not haunt her either. After Silco dies, we hear him speak, one last time, "We will show them all" as Fishbones as aimed towards the tower, the final command before Jinx pulls the trigger.

Or when it was believed that Jinx would receive her pink bullet tattoos at some point in s2. She jinxed everything, killed her first family with the monkey bomb which created giant clouds of blue, hence the blue cloud tattoos she receives. And then she relives it again, the worst moment of her life, when she accidentally shoots Silco with pink-trailed bullets. These two events turned her into Jinx, so it only made sense now that she embraced that side of her she would tattoo the other reminder of why she was Jinx.

But instead we got only two hallucinations of Silco, one aggressive and harmful to Jinx and the other talking like Vander, spitting on Silco's character and everything he stood for, as Jinx's mental illness is mostly washed away. Fishbones doesn't talk to Jinx and is destroyed by the end of S2's first act, and Jinx decides she isn't Jinx right afterwards. No Fishbones or tattoos to remember Silco.

No one could ever convince me that S2 was any good from a writing standpoint. I wonder if the writers didn't go this route because people had theorized about these things which were so cleverly foreshadowed. So they decided to trade them out in the name of plot twists and surprising the audience, hence so much of s2 feels retconned and had zero build-up.
