Like everyone else, after a while playing Palia, I've noticed a few areas where I feel the developers could make some improvements. Nothing serious just a few little tweaks

Nai'o keeps offering to show me his backflip and then not doing it. I want to see him do a backflip. Please animate this as a matter of urgency

You've made a game where you can romance everyone at once and I'm far from the only person doing that. Please let me wear all the pins at the same time. I've worked hard for them (I made so many checklists for efficient flirting etc). I deserve to clank when I move

Also if you get everyone to max romance I think there should be an official accomplishment. Suggested title: 'Town Bicycle'

The glider is great but I would also like something to move faster on the ground like maybe some kind of cottagecore skateboard or rollerskates with jetpacks on the sides

Finally (for now), I'd like a button on the chat screen so that, when someone is kicking off that a stranger isn't playing the game the way they deem 'correct', I can launch them into the sun

writing fanfiction is just. i’m being so creative and original. i’m plagiarizing everyone by accident. i’m a genius. i’m cringe. i’m too angsty. i’m too cheesy. this is not in character. it doesn’t matter that it’s not in character because these are my characters now. i love my hobby. this is the worst possible use of my time. i’m seeking validation. i’m projecting my own personal problems onto this story and i’m barely hiding it. i know so many words and i’m using all of them wrong. im on tumblr posting about it instead of writing it.

absolutely love abusing the power that comes with 3rd person limited pov and just ignoring things and being vague sometimes. does the character know all the details? no? then I don't have to either.

With more and more Ao3 authors restricting their works to the archive (due to AI scraping), they're going to be losing guest interaction. And probably generally feeling down because. You know. AI is stealing their hard work.

There's a new wave, and the comments are pretty varied and hurtful, but they're bots. Don't delete or report—mark as spam instead.

you'll get the urge as an artist or a writer to say out loud the things you're worried about "the proportions are off" "kind of out of character" "i'm not good at summaries" "didn't get as much detail as i wanted" "i made a mistake and here's how" and that's the self-conscious part of your brain telling you "it's bad and if you don't tell them you know it's bad then they'll think you're stupid" but you've got to ignore that little voice and pretend you think it's good or else that little voice is going to ruin your life
