If it’s over.

If it’s over there is going to be some things that I have to learn to get over, to forget and to move on.

If it’s over I’m going to have to realize that I can’t tag you in anything that I see while I’m scrolling on Facebook because it’s funny or because it reminds me of you. I’ll have to stop.

If it’s over I’ll have to stop looking at the pictures and watching the videos of us. Of my favorite memories that we have had, I’ll have to stop seeing the smile that was only on my face because of the simple fact that you were next to me and you put it there.

If it’s over I’ll have to let you go. To allow you to find someone else to give them your heart and pray to god that they can at least give you as much love if not more love that I have tried so hard to give you.

If it’s over you won’t be mine. I’ll have to stop playing “our songs” that we listened to almost daily on our car rides to nowhere. We sang our hearts out in each of those 2-3 minute time periods.

If it’s over I’m going to have to take a step back and reevaluate my own life and self worth because I’ll feel like I’m nothing when you’re gone, and a piece of me has just disappeared into absolute nothingness.

If it’s over... I’ll be missing you.

Do I ever leave your mind at all? And if I do is it only for a split second so you can see yourself in the future, our future. Us together.

When I’m crying because I’ve had a bad day, do you feel my pain also, do you wish it would just go away and disappear.

When you hear my name does it make you feel good inside, give you a sense of pride because you know you have my heart?

Tell me. Because I need answers.

I can’t go on with this not knowing whether or not I have a spot in your mind or a place in your heart.

Please, just tell me.
