I spent quite some time to observe the premium channel of Yo Crypto, a reader has recommended them for the great success he had with them. At first, he was providing really damn good unleveraged altcoin crypto signals and had an additional channel, where he provided BitMEX signals. I joined both and as much I liked the altcoin signals, as much I was flashed by the accuracy of the BitMEX trades. I went out for a chat with Ronny, the admin of the channel who was and is a very friendly, respectful person. He has shown quite some knowledge, so I decided to take a look. I found a superb success rate with his Bitmex trades, as well as their altcoin signals. They don’t offer a bloated program of services – you pay a relatively cheap fee and get great signals for BitMEX and – once the market allows it, or once BitMEX is untradeable due to price action – general altcoins short-term and long-term signals, simple as that. We first had this provider in our post about Crypto Signals but decided to move it here, as the emphasis was on BitMEX, we figured. This service worked for me even in tricky times and if I am holding a position in the opposite direction than a Yo Crypto signal, I think twice about holding it further!

The Signals

The crypto trading signals by Yo Crypto have been excellent from excellent quality for us. Even if you do not want to make use of their Altcoin signals, they’d be still to your advantage as those come rarely – and if they have a fantastic hit rate. They always have a close eye to Bitcoin and its corny moves and adapt their strategy for altcoin trades, but let’s talk about the BitMEX signals. We received signals on XBT as well as altcoins on Bitmex. Most often XBT, ETHUSD, ADAM, and BCH. A quick insider note for you: his accuracy is astonishing – though there is one asset that drags his hit rate down: XRP – so if you want to add additional safety and likeliness of an almost perfect track record of winning trades, just skip the XRP trades.

In regards to the style, I would categorize Yo Crypto as a Breakout Trader. He always waits for the perfect conditions, like a hunter who is silently stalking and suddenly he enters like a sniper. Still, he always gave a good range to enter and I never had problems with my orders not getting filled.

Yo Crypto provides most often an entry range, along with the information of the current price, so he makes sure you have chances to get in at the suggested price. The targets are most often split to the amount of five. There are times where many signals hit, and some times where mostly the first 1-3 hit. The first three targets hat the best hit rate in our test. We take the majority out on Target 1 – and leave the rest as play money. Once Target 2 has been hit, Yo Crypto moves the stop loss to breakeven, so you can simply let the signal run your way and try to achieve Target 5 if you wish. Stop/Loss to break-even, Leverage up to 100x or Cross – and you will set up enough free capital for further trades. Please make use of stop market orders to make sure your break-even stop gets triggered.

I like in particular that we enter in relative small buy ranges, like $40-$60 on XBT or $1-$3 on the ETHUSD pair. Many other provides use wide entry ranges, where you have to split the allocated capital pretty much. if you use 10% for a trade in general, but you are advised to enter in 5 steps with huge difference, you will often end up with 2% trades and a much smaller outcome when closed in profit.

However, as everything in life, there is also a drawback with Yo Crypto. At least partly the reason for his incredible hit rate is his stop/loss distance, which is always 25% from entry. Given the fact his track record of success shows it hits pretty rare, the risk is overseeable. Takling a 1 BTC account, which plays 10% on each trade, we would end up with a 0.025 loss for the 0.1 BTC sized trade. All things considered the Risk:Reward is still in place here, as you will see in the upcoming trade example.

Don’t expect daily signals here – there are days with many signals and days with less. This is very responsible as the market dictates the trades, and this is the only right way to do it. If the markets are dull or moving in a weird way, it is better to stay out – however, newbies want to burn their fingers first, before they accept it. Yo Crypto is obsessed with Bitcoin and observes it carefully to stop providing signals if they anticipate risky moves of corn. Very reliable signals group in critical situations, prefers to play the safe card. He actively monitors the news and delivers trade updates to get out at breakeven if something happens that could affect the success of the current trade.

Yo Crypto is a good solution for those that like to go both ways: Bitmex and altcoin trading in general, though the Altcoin trades do not come on a regular base or rhythm, they will just suddenly hit you one day – don’t expect them, then you’ll get them.

The Results

The BitMEX signals by Yo Crypto have been impressive, he clearly has an edge on these markets. As you can see from the trade example Yo Crypto plays the safe card. Smaller targets, taking profits step by step – this is how it should be done. He just doesn’t go nuts, but basically locks in profits when they are there. In our test phase where we traded his signals, we had not stop-loss hit and locked in some nice profits. There have been also larger gains, than in this example but this is not about advertising to promise you heaven, but more to show you how responsible trading works. Yo Crypto does an excellent job with that. We have mentioned countless times how dangerous Bitmex can be – not being too greedy pays off! Be patient, follow his rules and the gains should come. And now – drumrolls check out the astonishing results, we checked them one by one, and they are real: see performance track record here (to be updated soon).

We had a FANTASTIC success rate on each kind of signal and especially the Bitmex trades made us great profits. The signals have been so spot on, we can’t believe it at first – but the market did hit his targets very often super-precise. This indicates a deep knowledge of the markets. We felt very good guided by him, as he monitors everything happening around the corn and updates accordingly if, e.g. news appear which are not in our favor. You might not like that Yo Crypto does not provide the technical analysis with his trades, but we have been super happy with the consistent profits he was able to generate us. After testing his BitMEX signals for about a month, we decided to side with his targets and trade direction, if we see conflicting signals. A very honest person, not cocky or anything with magic fingers when it comes to picking the right trades.

The Support

Channel owner Ronny is pretty responsive and knows his stuff. While the channel does not offer a chat room for his customers, he usually replies within an hour (depending on the time zones obviously). There is no particular chat room for community support or member chit chat, which many might not like.

The Critique

Yo Crypto is a great trader, but like with every other channel, there is a point of critique. While the entry ranges are small, the targets are often not far away, so with the first target the profits are not very big (mostly single digits). Considering the stop-loss which is 25% away from entry this could decrease your risk/reward effectively if the first two targets are hit predominantly. If we take the profit gains since inception and divide it through the number of signals given, we get an average profit of 19.1%. Nevertheless, we have a very long track record with this provider and you can see that two consecutive losers are pretty rare.

Another point of critique is a missing chat room. Many customers take this as a sign of lacking transparency and I get that. However, I really saw many good traders go down the river due a customer chat box. Every trader – even the best in the world – get some bad mojo sometimes. This is normal, you hodl through this phase, take more caution with the trades and then you get back on your feet. A trollbox can have a destroying effect on the trader’s mind. Customers lose money and are giving bad vipes, putting up tensions and pressure and the trader might lose his flow furtherly. I don’t take it as negative point, as it preserves the quality of a channel somehow, stil I get if customers feel it differently.

The Support

I got a direct support person, which I was able to ask everything and got good answers. They know what they are doing. They are also always around in their VIP chat to support members. As their team is pretty big, you won’t be alone if you need help. In fact, they offer now a 24/7 support team, available on the live chat on their portal as well as in their chat room. While the support will help you to solve your issues with the bot and other trading related questions. I have to say it is not always a friendly, welcoming kind of support, as I was notified by other customers, though they will assist you until the problem is solved – you are not alone with your problem, but get help with a hands-on mentality.

The Critique

Verified Crypto Group provides a solid service and I like the professionality of the service itself. However, I feel they could improve their interaction with their customers, this is where I can see a lag. I was told that the support reacted rudely from time to time and I saw how posts with critic vanished from the chat room. This is something I don’t like and I think this is contrary to the rest of how the group operates. The chat room rules are very strict and limit an open and helpful discussion in my opinion. They are super transparent with their results, so they should not make use of such behavior.

THE JUDGEMENT

Verified Crypto Group does an awesome job in bringing professionalism to Crypto Signals. The whole setup, if legal or service wise, is well-thought through and provides value to the customers. From an investors point of view the Platinum services bring up the really good stuff, however, you have to hold on for some time here.

They have those scalps with small profits but also these mega swing trades. Until today we trade almost all of their signals. In regards to the background info, you will get the following info when a signal has been issued: The fundamentals, the consideration, the call logic – these steps make you learn more and more with every call if you take the time to understand what caused the call a call. Please note that this crypto signal channel is a mixture of educational content, news content and professionally analyzed signals, explained along with the technical analysis behind. You won’t get dozens of crypto trading signals per day, but you will get a few outstanding ones, and an explanation of why they issue this signal. This is a channel for people who want to learn something and widen their horizon.

Even in the hardest times they provided pure quality and have consistent success for months now. They know how to play their cards well – in difficult times they provide extra opportunities like very well researched ICOs, which they organize the pooling to get you some extras from the seed sale phase, which usually only the big boys get.

Dang! Hard for me to even begin! These guys don’t stop surprising me! The Support

Honestly, I felt for their traders as they have a Premium chat room where their customers find the very responsive staff incl. the traders seem to be around 24/7. Patiently all questions have been answered – always friendly, always well-knowledged, this is the gold standard. I often get thankful messages for recommending Alpha Trade Signals, as their level of support is very personal and helpful.

The Critique

There are some minor issues, I don’t like. One trader works also for another channel and sometimes I can see very similar or duplicate signals. In my opinion a channel should always strave to provide 100% unique work and a doubling is a no go. Furthermore, I THINK I observed how a regular market analysis post, which has been posted as information and not as signal, has been counted as signal later in the stats. The analysis was spot on, so it is no big deal, but it skews the stats as only real given signals should be found there. However, I have to mention it, as I am 90% sure I’ve seen this, but cannot prove it as I can’t find it again, unfortunately.

THE JUDGEMENT

This channel should be rewarded with an extra model for a combination which is quite hard to find: Great support + working signals in the bear market + the advanced approach of educating their members like not only holding their coins but to scale in and out to increase their Bitcoin holdings. Overall a great service with minor shadows when it comes to uniqueness and eventually the results tracking. Still, they are a rocking team and personally I absolutely love the way Harris is rocking the (ETH) charts – damn good work. Furthermore, we have been able to get a sneak peek into the video course they are currently developing – and well, this 55 lessons big course won’t leave out a thing. We know they will release it soon to further boost the portfolio of services they offer for a complete training program they will give you the opportunity to become an Alpha trader yourself and harvest the markets on your own. Con artists would charge you a gazillion of $ for this kind of content, Alpha Trade Zone is more about adding value and will offer it soon for a minor fee.

If you are an avid cryptocurrency passionate and investor, you are probably aware of the immense cryptocurrency market volatility. Imposing high risk, but also extremely high reward opportunities this asset class has lured massive waves of participants in the past and will most likely keep doing so in the future, along with its advancing mass adoption by the society. The cryptocurrency market, due to the low liquidity of most traded assets, is subject to extreme manipulation from the big players – called Whales. The whisper of manipulation often means that the first thing coming to mind is “conspiracy”. Not exactly. Manipulation is the outcome of a market that does not offer enough liquidity to the participants. Manipulation in the markets does not only relate to “inside information” trading but also to having the power to move the price of an asset in a desired direction. Now replace the word “power” with the word “money”. See where we are going?

Emotions in Trading

Keeping that in the back of our minds let’s look at the cryptocurrency market and the cycles it experiences. We witness two major stages in the market: a bull cycle accompanied with euphoria, greed and hope and a bear cycle accompanied with fear, desperation and loss of hope (and money). They are often associated with two main emotions from psychological perspective: Fear and Greed.

Identifying the two market cycles in crypto:

In order to create a new bull cycle there are two things that must be taken care of.

1. Let it calm down – The Accumulation Phase

In between the bear and the bull cycle price must remain in a mild state, going up and down into a tight range. This, known also as consolidation, is the phase of accumulation. This is the place where price finds a flat leveling stage, most of the smaller investors give up on their last positions because they are losing hope and trust that the market will ever go up and they leave the market in desperation and loss. This is exactly what the bigger whale players in the market are waiting for as they are aware of the market cycles and emotions psychology. They are incrementally increasing their positions, buying up the small player’s positions (buying into the fear) and stashing them for when the moods in the market change.

At the lower parts of the range big portions of the assets are getting bought that will get sold later at higher prices. This is a phase that takes space and time because of inadequate liquidity in the market. Traders known as whales are buying the asset from retail traders that are selling their positions due to fear since we are at the bottom of a bear cycle.

2. Creation of hype in the crypto space so that new money starts flowing in that help pushing the price to higher levels

When the accumulation phase is over there has to be a catalyst that will help those professional traders push price to higher levels. Most of the time this has to do with news. It’s either some fake news or some major fundamental event in which those traders have inside information about. The selection of the asset is not randomly done.

And it’s not always one asset…

It only takes one pair to create some interest in the space and motivate retail traders to FOMO in the game. Then the rest of the coins simply follow the path.

So it’s not the next bull run??

Now let’s get to the point! Every time a bull cycle happens people tend to believe we are heading into a new bull run and new all-time highs. Well, not exactly. Those cycles are artificial and not backed by real money flowing into the cryptocurrency market. Do not compare those cycles with the 2017 run, this was backed by huge hype, news and price was organically driven to higher prices. A legitimate bull run. Back to out small artificial bull cycles in 2019. Focusing our attention only in BTC and the Major altcoins (ETH, XRP, TRX, ADA, LTC, EOS) since only these generate attention. So in every cycle we separate them in two categories.

The “First to pump” and the “Late to the party” coins. Their main difference is that the “Late to the party” coins are usually largest capitalization coins like BTC and ETH. The “First to pump” are mostly lower capitalization coins from the major altcoins. Those coins are easier to move due to less money needed to initiate some artificial pumps and create attention of retail traders. Money starts flowing from inside the market, while new money from big players are accumulating the hardest to move assets (BTC & ETH).

Now let’s get practical…

TRX Chart – Artificial Bull Run

I want to shift attention on a specific date in the market. The 6th of February. This is exactly the time when TRX reached almost the top of its bull phase. This coin is a “First to pump”, it started pumping since December.

Let’s focus again on 6th of February.

Pay attention here..

This is how you define an artificial bull run from an organic one. TRX level on 6th. Same as it was when Bitcoin had the price of $7000! Total Market Capitalization at this price was over $240 Billion back then, now it was as low as $110 Billion. Our conclusion: This coin was pumped artificially and there was not any strong evidence to support that it was an organic move. TRX topped out at 6th of February and money flew from TRX to the next asset. In this case Litecoin…

Why the selection of LTC?

Simply, news about the halving plus it’s Market Cap was low at that moment. Litecoin, as a major asset in the cryptocurrency space, combined with the fundamental event is a coin that could generate a lot of FOMO in retail participants in the market. After 6th of February price on TRX starts to stabilize and LTC starts pumping. Again, market cap is not growing, it’s obvious that money are flowing from TRX (since TRX is dropping) to Litecoin. Add one super bullish news like the halving event and the perfect opportunity is here. Spread it across digital crypto media outlets, make people fear that they will miss the next train that’s right in front of their eyes! Small retail investors are now willing to move from their Bitcoin holding to Litecoin because they hope on some quick, easy profits! Let’s explain it again. People are FOMO (fear of missing out) buying into TRX while it topped, so whales can unload their bags there and sell their holdings while moving on the next asset which is Litecoin. They have already accumulated Litecoin and after the 6th it’s time to pump. People seeing TRX then LTC growing in value are selling their Bitcoin for Litecoins. They essentially start moving Litecoin in value while selling Bitcoins. Remember, for ever seller there has to be a buyer.

Who is buying those position that are being sold?

Whales. Accumulation is happening now in BTC. They made money both from TRX and continue banking on Litecoin but the safest and most important asset is still not moving. It’s the asset that will make them the most money since big percentage of their portfolio is allocated in BTC. Bitcoin also needs huge amounts of money to move eventually.

Accumulation phase above. Price is ranging up and down preparing for a major move.

Next important date to shift our attention is 20 of March. This is when Litecoin reached a local top and ADA started moving. TRX is still dropping. No new money flowing into the market, money just flow from one asset to another. This run in both altcoins was a warning sign, next coin to pump in the market is a sign that some major move is going to happen.

Finally, when ADA starts losing momentum, Bitcoin makes its move up, and on 3rd of April 2019 most altcoins have topped out. Money is away from altcoins and into the strongest asset, Bitcoin. Dominance starts rising and those overvalued and overextended altcoins trap buyers while losing their value each day.

How to setup a Binance or Bitmex Auto Trader?

Both Auto Traders, for BitMEX and for Binance are setup per an API conection. An API, short for Application Programming Interface, is a software intermediary that allows two parties to exchange information with each other. In our case, there is most often the chat tool Telegram, where the signals come in, and the API which transfers the signal information to Binance or BitMEX and places the orders for you there. This basically means, you have nothing to do, then to provide the API key and the secret. These are two sets of random characters and numbers, which you provide most likely to a telegram bot. This enables telegram to connect to BitMEX and Binance and transfer the needed information to buy and sell.

So we know now, that the Binance / Bitmex Auto traders are all based on an API connections to your Binance/Bitmex account. You can generate such an API key within your account settings (they won’t take your key if you have the withdrawal option enabled on it). You can define which abilities the key shall have you pass to Margin signals, so basically, you don’t tick “Withdrawal” and they cannot run with your account funds. Once the key is created, they have access to trigger your account into any trades that is published by their Telegram channel. Building the needed API key is as easy as 1-2-3.

An Auto Trader is not for you…

It is crucial for this operation that you provide an API key for a funded account, solely traded by the signals group (you can have multiple accounts with Bitmex, register some more accounts here with discounted fees, thanks!) – if you log in and place your orders, interferences will mess up but still you should feel comfortable. Crypto trading can be dangerous, and you have to know that you can lose everything. BitMEX signal providers will make use of some leverage, plus most of them trade alts on Bitmex often (where contract prices can be much higher, like on BCH). Custom Solutions

Many signal providers have chosen proprietary solutions. This means they hired a coder to bridge their signals to your BitMEX or Binance account. These are most often the most convenient solutions for you, as you have no configuration setup to process. You provide only the API key and the secret and the rest is done by the provider. All customers receive the same results. If you chose such a solution, please make sure the provider uses proper risk management as you likely cannot influence it yourself.

Auto Trader Software for BitMEX

BitMEX offers a great API as well. However, trading BitMEX over API won’t help you with overload issues or slippage on altcoin futures. There are basically two options channels are using for auto replication signals to your BitMEX account: Cornix and custom solutions.

Cornix for BitMEX

Cornix for BitMEX is not (yet) an optimal solution. The coding team behind the bot is still ironing out quite a few things. Recently, stops have been placed as limit orders, which was not really really good – but it is fixed now. Right now there are some problems in the order process flow, depending on the chosen strategy. It has still lots of potential, but I think it will take some time.

Custom Solutions for BitMEX

As there are not much alternatives on the market (besides buggy Chrome Add ons, etc.) many signal provider went their own way and coded their own auto trader solution for BitMEX. Most are hands-free solutions, so you just overhand your API key and your secret and let them roll.

Conclusion about Crypto Auto Trader Solutions

Auto Traders and Crypto is yet in an infantile stage it seems. Cornix is a great solution when it comes to Binance but has some steps to go for BitMEX as well. TradingApp is a great solution with a perfectly working app for Binance signals. The proprietary solutions are often a great way to go, if the signals and the risk management are good.These hands-free solutions shall be seen as long-term investement and not an overnight-riches solution. Anyone who has held an ETF of other Fund knows about the about and downs of it. Crypto however, is way more volatile, so you might observe a rollercoster for of your investment. I would not use auto traders as my retirement fund option, but as my experimental long-term option for sure. There are some great providers in this list, but you have to get out the glassbowl mentality seeing 1-2 month and take 1-2 years instead. Great things can be achvieved in this timeframe in Crypto. However, if it is not money you can lose with an “Oh well” on your lips, you might consider something else. For all others, this might be a very interesting investment possibility, but you have to be aware that you can lose the complete investment.

If BitMEX Syndicate would have been a love story, it would have been the classical on/off relationship. BitMEX Syndicate has been listed in our BEST BITMEX SIGNALS post for quite some time, and we have been in close contact with their head trader Dan Brown. The canuck is also running barstoolbitcoin.io, a pretty interesting and crypto podcast, worth listening (we have been interviewed by them while ago) and also the Crypto10x YouTube channel. To say the least, it was confusing – On one hand, we saw great signals. On the other hand, there have been accusations there shall be copied stuff from other channels. This didn’t match our impression from the straight-up guy we learned to know and left us clueless. So we decided to place a spy into the group – a signal customer, who is in many Discords and well-connected. If there’d be anything copied left, he’d surely find it. You can find his conclusion about the current at the end of this review. But now back to the channel itself and what they can provide to their customers.

We found Dan to be a legit and a pretty serious trader. You won’t find any funny memes in his channel, as he treats trading as a real business, where a loss is a business expense and a win is a revenue. With a very in-depth technical view on the markets, he is keeping a mature view of what is happening over there. We never saw Dan rushing into a trade – like really never! He will not give a single signal, which he is not 100% comfortable with, and he will never let his customers pressure more signals out of him than the market gives to him.

We didn’t get daily signals here, but we definitely got true quality. With the BitMEX Syndicate, we did not recognize the slightest gambling attitude and is meant only for traders that mean it serious. Quality over quantity – this is the motto here and if one feels a craving for constant trades, there will be a disappointment, in the end, I’m afraid. What these people are missing out tho, is a hit rate of 93.55% (at the time of December, signals tracked which might not yet be visible in the sheet). Geezus, I almost feel like a scammer just writing about such high figures, but I verified the signals and it is insane but true. To be fair, I have to say there have been months with just three signals, but also 12 in August on the other hand – with an unbelievable hit rate of 100%). Sometimes no trade is the best trade to protect your capital, Dan knows this for sure and his unique way of market interpretation works best with traders that can sit on their hands – again, this is not for gamblers, who want a permanent flow of better guesses. If you are OK with a smaller than usual amount of signals, but therefore a crazy hit rate – BitMEX Syndicate is your way to go!

Priorly the signals have been delivered by texts/email but due to the high demand, they deliver on Telegram now. On top of that they started a journey channel “from 0.1BTC to 1BTC” – and you can follow their steps with your account! This is an amazing, fully transparent challenge, one of its kind. After each trade, he posts proof screenshots where this challenge account stands now.

A fresh and pragmatical approach, which enables you to see how traders act, how they de-risk their trading by hedging their positions, how they do their money management to grow the account slow and steady. Important: They start the account very small, this is an important detail. Great project, which is included in your membership and provided on top to the regular signals channel.

The Auto Trader

The Auto Trader is a proprietary solution for BitMEX Syndicate and you have nothing to do, but handing over the API keys and let them do their job. They will replicate their signals, as well as the 1 BTC challenge to your account.

The Signals

Frankly, this is professional as it can be. The free channel on Telegram proves this day by day. Here BitMEX Syndicate does not give out signals but makes the stalking process for the signals transparent. He shares his elaborate technical view on the market, which assets he is eyeing and gives clues what he might be trading. The exact entries and exits will be shared with his clients alone, which also receive all signals. BitMEX Syndicate does not offer a Premium Telegram channel for his clients, he prefers to deliver the signals by e-mail or by text to a mobile device (might change in the future). I asked for the trades, which can be found in the results sheet, as I found his accuracy scary and can’t believe it in the first place – but hell, they are true. Reviewing this service was very enjoyable, as it was very easy to follow the few signals, which gave a return where others would need multiple trades to achieve the same results. The beauty with such a high accuracy is that it dramatically reduces the risk. Every trade contains a risk for an account. Many signals = higher risk. Fewer signals + high accuracy = lowest risk, though we still stick with our money management rules, of course. The Results

In one line, constant, steady and compounding growth. I mean, please take a look at the results sheet – there is not much else to say. However, it is not the fast pace from rags to riches, but since it is a flat rate price and not a subscription price, it is all good. We can just slowly build up more and more on the sidelines – soon even without lifting a finger, once the API trader is ready, they are currently working on. A true quality service, which delivers great results. In the example above I took a nice scalp which hit all targets within a few hours. Target 4 was spot on hit at top of the wick, and this is not rare with BitMEX Syndicate – they are true precision traders and you can observe this quite often.

The Support

BitMEX Syndicate provides very decent and personal support. Sometimes one has to wait a bit for a reply, but therefore they offer a detailed, passionate reply. They guide their clients to make them achieve the best possible outcome with their signals. However, we didn’t get instant replies – you need to have some patience. Your question should be answered within the same day, but mostly not on the spot. Still, the support of BitMEX Syndicate is actually the lifeblood of this group as they take it very seriously and take their time to reply to every customer to provide helpful replies. I saw private messages by clients, which I want to show you below:

The Critique

Well, yes – our contact Dan has a Partner that has done some bullshit with the channel in the past. Apparently, some of the market updates have been taken by another group and we cannot and do not want to beautify this fact. It is a bad habit. Period. Dan, our contact with the group is still highly reputable stand up guy and we trust him to watch the work of his partner closely. Whilst the signals always have been unique, the market updates should be so as well. His partner understands this now hopefully, there are better possibilities to save some time. To make sure that this has been stopped we asked a regular Signals customer to check the group. He is active on Discord and Twitter and checked BitMEX Syndicate against the other groups and investigated deeply with the help of his contacts. Thank you, MAX! His conclusion follows next.

Alright this is what I found out:

Apparently they used to use analysis from an old group from a twitter handle under crypto trooper but not the trades themselves.

A couple of people told me that trooper now does mostly forex so might have been one of the reasons they stopped or moved on.

From the looks of it they stopped or are either using their own or another analysis groups. No one recognize the most recent content so it can be legit.

Second; the trades are impressive. I talked with rob who is the trader briefly and he seems like a quality guy. The time I was in the channel we didn’t get spammed with non sense but actual stuff that was relevant. I had a lot of questions regarding his trading style and he was kind enough to forward me with a bunch of solid learning material.

They have a solid record in trades but recently seem to have been getting back on track.

Third: they have a legit api.

Every group I’ve been in has charged you for use of the api. This group is free and they only require 20% at the end of the week of profit share. If they didn’t profit then it’s at no cost to you.

Joined the API and they profited me 10% in less than a few days which is amazing for my small account.

Overall the group now is a chill non-spam group. They don’t post ads, they have reasoning for their trades, they have an API and seem to want you to learn at the same time while making money.

THE JUDGEMENT

BitMEX Syndicate is somehow a stubborn channel, as they love to do their own thing. Customers can’t squeeze signals out of them (which is very good) and they trade like Robots or even Robot Zombies – always moving forward, straight after their plan and their money management. How they handle the API accounts by their customers shows that they are no gamblers, but follow strict rules. The analysis and the signals they provide are quality – a quality which is hard to find. They don’t offer many extras with bells and whistles but a straight service.

We gave a bad rating on Price/Performance for one reason: There is only a lifetime plan available and we don’t fancy that, as we think one should be able to test a service. At least we can offer some of you a 50% coupon. I talked with Dan about the Pricing Model, and he sees it as a flat rate pricing for an incredible investment opportunity. You pay once, hand over your API keys and let them do their work – LONG-TERM. I understand his reasoning as with this pricing model it becomes a fixed cost factor, not a recurring one, which makes it hard to stay profitable. Furthermore, they don’t have to stress how many signals they shall bring each month and have the ease to trade only what they are really confident in. The thought behind it makes sense to me. Still, we would love to see a trial or something in this direction.

What has been really annoying, is that they inserted copied/rehashed stuff from other channels for their free channel content, instead of providing 100% of their own work. This cuts of their legitimacy and it must not be like that – the short ways are sometimes the worst. Happily, this problem seems to be solved, according to Dan, our independent reviewer, and our own analysis and conclusion. As the channel is finally clean from copied stuff, we can recommend it again.

And the people, they were raving. Head Trader Rob is one that sticks to his (trading) plan. And this plan failed to work in flat market conditions, unfortunately. But then he came with a plan…

Margin Signals is very different to the average channel. Usually, you buy in steps and get out in steps. Margin signals are swing traders get in at one price get out another one – most often very wide ranges. Some might wonder about the below average accuracy rate. The Margin Signals strike rate was hovering between 60 to 70% in 2018 and for the triple-digit ROI you usually made with them, this is very well. The market dynamics have changed drastically since then. Robbo traded like Breakout – Pullback to Trendline – Enter – Stay in the Trend – Cash Out. The first quarter of ’19 didn’t behave like that at all. Instead, each pullback came with a breakdown and this has hurt his hit rate. Margin Signals about their Auto Trader

The auto trader is solid coding work and does quite well. Unlike Cornix and other bot solutions, it is a hands-free service, included fully in the membership fees. You just hand over your API details and the team handles the rest for you. Like any other auto trader, it shows some shortages in regards to slippage on illiquid trading pairs, like some altcoin futures, but the team comes up with a mathematical solution to solve the problem.

The Signals

Yes, the market conditions have been fierce to channel admin Robbo’s trading style – and there have been tough months behind the subscribers. Additionally, to the fact that Robbo’s Swing Style trade is picking up again, their new trader Jack is doing very, very well.

Rob, the head trader behind Margin calls, comes from the forex world and has been a full-time trader for about four years in FX and two years in crypto. He mainly trades off pullbacks and reversals off key support or resistance points, as well as breakouts of strong continuation patterns. Robbo is Swing trader – this means one entry, one exit – holding this position for quite some time to reap the benefit of a full swing of the price. Jack provides scalps for BitMEX and Altcoins to the Margin Signals team and has offered an insane success rate so far.

Furthermore, I’d like to stress that Margin Signals have been one of the most transparent groups we’ve seen so far: They trade all their signals on a reference account and post screenshots about its increase or decline in value. They never made up a single digit and just post the results as they happen.

The Results

If you ask me for the results, I have to ask for the timeframe. Especially the auto trader accounts are meant to run for the long-term, so like with every investment there might be spikes downwards. In our test month last year we had quite a few good trades here, out of 8 trades we took, 7 succeeded and one failed hard. This is common, as a 100% rate is very hard to achieve.

January to March has been a tough phase Margin Signals had to go through. As initially stated Robbo’s trading style didn’t work out well in the tight accumulation phase the charts were showing and the Auto Trader accounts that have been build up nicely in the year before were taking a hit. Margin Signals took action: They hired a new trader which provided excellent scalps and altcoin trades. This has pushed the accuracy rate, as March became a 100% success rate month.

We liked their transparent approach and taking the time to explain why that trade failed and how they roll with it. You mostly get a video explanation for most of the taken trades. The signals always contained a clear stop/loss for your risk management and have been live supported in the chatroom. I run the Margin Signals Auto Trader on a test account and it worked perfectly so far and completely hands-free without any hassle.

What we like very much with this provider, that they have a clear track record of their results and tidily keep note of all their trades.

Also, the altcoin trades for Binance and Bittrex have been a real killer so far.

The Support

They are really great with support and are always there in the chat room to support their members live – no matter if it is about getting out of a trade that turned against them or if the customers need emotional/psychological support. For that they have quite a big team, so most of the team an official is around. Margin Signals is providing the needed materials and explaining basic things of BitMEX. Rob and his partner Capfive are always there to support you with everything needed. When it comes to supporting their members they are really one of a kind, very passionate and friendly. The cherry on the top is their great community chat, which is one of the most active we have seen. Much TA and help are shared there and the people you can find there are friendly knowledgeable – it is a place to learn, where everyone can post their TA and get feedback from others.

On the other hand, when things got heated, due to the lack of performance, the support didn’t keep it professional in 100% of the cases. Sure, every concern got addressed but we can improve here by taking a step back and cool off before replying. Don’t get me wrong – the support is top notch, and from a human kind of view I get the reactions, though some situations could have been solved with another kind of comments/actions. The Margin Signals Team is very friendly and very supportive, I want to definitely stress that, but to offer a frank review I have to mention this situations as well.

The Critique

Well, the critique is quite obvious: We would’ve wished for a faster reaction when it became clear, that the trading style does not work anymore in the given conditions. We would’ve loved to stay a faster step back and faster implementation of the solution. Sure, this is not always possible like in the textbook, as after all you have to provide a service and you have to find a great trader to compensate your own work, this is kind of a big deal. Happily, the times of tight ranges appear to vanish again and Robbo’s great swing trades with juicy results and very wide targets might come again soon. If nothing else, the bad phase completed their service: We have might have ended now with great swings AND scalps.

Intro

As soon as I joined the group Robbo and his admin contacted me to give me a full picture of how the group works. This also comes with a whole set of documents to present the team, the trading style and how to read the CTAs. But this isn’t all, they also send you docs that give you the basics to understand how to set up a portfolio and deal with emotions and risks in your trading life. This isn’t just a signal group, those are traders and they are aiming at you becoming one too, that is the part I particularly liked.

The Signals

There are two type of CTAs : the swing and the scalps one. The scalps are straight forward.

The swing, at the start, looked difficult for me to read. Mainly I was used to getting a CTA straight in a message. Eventually, I got used to the “image” style of the CTA. However, I think some info like the entry range and the targets in the CTA could be made clearer, having TP2 at the same level at TP1 and maybe with an indication of “how much to get out” at each target could be good. Although, if you read the docs they send you and if you trade for some time, you would know what to do.

Quality of the signals

At first, I decided to paper trade to check the quality and quantity of the signal.

On the Alts : I received 3 to 4 signal a day, some got stopped of course, and this is where I could tell the traders behind know what they’re doing. the SL were reasonably set to ensure small loss, and the target of the the signals that went through were ambitious enough that… at the end of the day you don’t really care about the ones that got hit.

On BTC/Bitmex : 3 days before the nice little jump of BTC their main trader planned the trade and sent it. To be honest, when i received it, i was very doubt-full, first because I was short myself, but because I have still limited experience in trading, so a CTA is also a great way to learn from the bests, and second because probably everyone else was short. And here we have someone that suddenly come calmly and explain to us that we should be patient, this is what will happen, and if we break this, then we enter there, and we ride till there and that this may take a few days. Guess what? 3 days after it plays out exactly as he planned it. The Auto Trader

Bad timing for my entry, Margin Signal just suffered constant slippage in their AT to a point that its member weren’t very happy. I really appreciated the pro-active communication : They knew the issue but they already were working on a fix. All was done in a very transparent manner, explaining all the steps and the logic for the solution. At first, the rational of the new strategy was a bit scary, but if you take he time to put the number down and do your own calculations, it all make sense. So the AT is evolving and I believe it’s for good.

The BitMEX Casino – 5 Gamble Strategies You Should Avoid

When people enter leveraged positions on BitMEX, they take the risk of getting liquidated. With regular altcoin trading, you still have the coins/tokens after all, but with a liquidation, you stay with a big red zero. Traders with a lack of risk management and/or knowledge in technical analysis tend to apply typical gambler strategies. Learn which they are, which risks are involved and why you should avoid using them. I repeat this post is not for using these methods. It is about reflecting yourself and about self-awareness with your trading behavior. If you don’t know how to trade, these methods won’t save you. #1 Martingale Double-Ups

The (Martingale) strategy had the gambler double his bet after every loss, so that the first win would recover all previous losses plus win a profit equal to the original stake. The martingale strategy has been applied to roulette as well, as the probability of hitting either red or black is close to 50%.

There are several kinds of ways implementing the classical Martingale technique. Let’s say a trade with a value of 0.1BTC hits stop/loss or liquidation. You would double up the next trades until they hit the target. Another way, if one really believes in his setup, is it to re-enter after stop/loss with the double amount, until the target finally hits.

The Problem: The problem is that your total equity might be too limited. All it needs is one juicy losing streak to blow your entire account. Some traders do it with a strict 2-Step Martingale rule, but one needs proper mental stealth to be able to take a loss after the second stop. Furthermore, it could be a new uptrend/downtrend that has been established and your actual target gets out of reach.

#2 Account Balance instead of Stop/Loss

It can be hard to take a loss, but it is part of your job as a trader. Still some doesn’t want to accept it and try to make use of a bigger balance to average their ass out of a red position. This means, you enter the position with a properly calculated balance, like 1-5% of your total account value for example. Means you still have 95% sitting in your BitMEX account. If the position goes against one, the gambler would feed more into it near the liquidation price to avoid thus. By doing this the average entry prices rises and the chances increase, that price will come down to breakeven, so you can leave the position without a loss.

The Problem: Especially in Crypto there is always the possibility the price goes parabolic and doesn’t come down to breakeven anymore. You are feeding a bleeding position and pull your wound apart more and more. This method becomes even more dangerous when used with a leverage of x10 and more.

#3 Candle Martingaling

If you have no clue from technical analysis you might be teased to make use of the simple odds of the candle color. There are two ways the patient gamblers play this: with the trend and countertrend. The first is to start buying or selling the newly starting color depending on the color of the last one. 4h chart, candle closes green. The gambler buys a small amount of the next starting candle and takes profit/stops out at the end of it. If in profit, he stays with the same amount, if in loss he doubles up on the next candle. Some think this works better counter trend, as you likely double up faster and therefore get faster bigger orders.

The Problem: It is never sure how price develops. Prices can go parabolic and grow without changing the color for a long time. Also, this technique needs very patient hands and a strong mind. Especially, if one reaches the 5th or 6th double up and the account balance melts away. On top of that, for all the patience needed, the rewards can be very small for a long time. Big rewards only come once the risk increases.

#4 Going Long AND Short

Many ingenious trader come to the idea to open up a second BitMEX account to take the opposite of the the actual traded direction, to over come the lack of understanding technical analysis. Indeed, there are legit methods out there to do it in a relative safe way if the price ranges tightens and a breakout is in the oven. However, it needs proper preparation, awareness and screentime, a good understanding of math and support and resistance to calculate the stops, the right charts and still tons of luck.

The Problem: There is still a good probability you get wicked out of both positions by a light saber candle. Double stop/loss. UGH. Furthermore, you really need to sit in front of the screen, best with two screens and observe price all the time. Sometimes stop/loss don’t trigger, even as market stop loss if the price goes ham.

#5 The Yolo Method: All-in – Go big or go home

Yolo! Go big or go home – you read that quite often in the BitMEX trollbox and this is the ultimately fastest method to burn your account. Very High Risk / High Reward teases still a big portion of traders. Many gamblers manage exaggerated position sizes like this if the trade goes against them. Going all in. Price pumps against them. Waiting for a calm down / retracement. Takeing 50% of the position out, accepting a 50% of the total loss. Uses the released funds for an order near liquidation price and hopes for wick action or a retracement to breakeven.

Many folks are searching for the single big shot that evens out all their loss they acquired before. However, the experience of many many many traders which have been in the same situation as you, have shown if you start this, you will see a massive series of losers. It is like magic, all-in-positions are really like having a badass magnet pulling price to stop/loss.

The Problem: Like in the other examples, you simply don’t know how the price will develop after all. It might just not retrace when you need it – blown accounts are the consequence.

A Pretty Boring ByBit Review

The Bulls are back (a bit) and the ref-shillers are heating up their game. ByBit, Deribit, BitMAX reviews everywhere you look. Everyone shills a ref-link here a real “review” there. But damn! Did you ever look at the UX of BitMAX? Do you think this is a website that could be ever successful and does you really believe that it outranked each and every other exchange with that insane volume numbers? OK. I admit, I did not do my research here, this is just a baseless rant. I visited the site, it put me instantly off and I went away. Similar thing with ByBit and all the other shrooms which are popping out of every cowpat. I get hammered with ByBit affiliate links on Twitter, on Telegram, needless to say, they are emailing us often to promote them (because they follow us on Instagram, and love our content there – thing is only we aren’t there). OK, here is the boring ByBit review like on any other crypto site so we can finally put a lid on it. In a nutshell: A few differences, but basically BitMEX with a Binance theme.

In 2018 the Security Exchange commission blocked several Bitcoin Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) citing that the risk to investors would be potentially too high. While the SEC did not entirely dismiss the idea of Bitcoin ETFs in the future they argued the market was yet to mature enough for ETFs. After the stalling of Bitcoin ETFs albeit momentary, cryptocurrency derivatives are increasingly coming to the fore. One of the companies that are strongly involved in this evolution is BitMEX and therefore other derivatives exchange pop out everywhere trying to copy their successful model. In this article, we conduct an in-depth review of the features and workings of the ByBit derivatives exchange as an example for all the other ones flodding to the market recently.

What is ByBit?

ByBit is a worldwide platform that allows retail traders, professionals, investment institutions and enthusiast to participate in cryptocurrencies derivatives trading. The platforms aim at combining the best of traditional assets and digital assets to create a safe, reliable, fair and user-centric exchange for crypto-derivatives. The exchange largely focuses on trading the pairs of BTC/USD and ETH/USD. The platform is one of the most robust networks with an impressive rate of 100,000 transactions per second.

Claim: Handles a massive amount of transaction per second. BitMEX Comparison: This would basically mean no Overload issues like on Mex, which would be neat of course. Reality: I doubt ByBit really expecierenced the traffic and server load BitMEX did. So this has yet to be proven.

ByBit is registered as a cryptocurrency exchange in the British Virgin Islands and its headquarters are based in Singapore. The founding and management teams are comprised of financial executives and blockchain investors.

Claim: The project also boasts of highly competent professionals who are in charge of research and development within the company. BitMEX Comparison: Hey, we have Arthur here. Frankly, I prefer to have money on a BVI based exchange, than on the Seychelles. Reality: The company registration is OK. The team can be checked on LinkedIn. However, this information has to be verified.

In her bid to standardize financial regulations in the crypto-space, ByBit is driven by three major core values of promoting: transparency, innovation, and user support. So far, the innovation point is not yet clearly visible to me, but let’s check for the features.

The Features of ByBit

Perpetual contracts.

Perpetual contracts are financial derivatives that are designed to be a compromise between spot contracts and future contracts. On one hand, spot contracts require immediate settlement, while on the other hand, future contracts are settled on a specific date in the future, like for example TRX or CARDANO on BitMEX. Perpetual contracts adopted by ByBit, therefore provide a simple and efficient trading option for traders to hold positions for as long as they desire. This results in more opportunities for financial gain. However, just as known, funding rates apply.

BitMEX Comparison: ByBit covers only Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetuals and no further altcoin futures like BitMEX. Funding rates apply on perpetual contracts like on ByBit.

Dual-price mechanism.

The crypto-space has been constantly facing accusations of price manipulations, where exchanges have often resulted in intentionally deflating or inflating prices for malicious gains. To counter this, ByBit uses the dual-price mechanism to protect investors from manipulation and uses mark prace AND last traded price. For instance, if the price of ETH plummets from $180 to $40 as a result of attempted manipulation, the Mark Price will remain at $180, effectively protecting the traders from liquidation since the mark price is the sole trigger for liquidation.

Claim: Basically, this would mean you get less wicked out. Reality: Could not find any user feedback until now. To be observed.

Mark to Market.

On ByBit a contracts prices are usually tethered to the last traded price using a mechanism called funding. Funding is exchanged between long and short positions every 8 hours, thus making the last traded price marked to market every 8 hours.

BitMEX Comparison: Exactly the same.

Leveraged Trading.

ByBit offers up to 100 times leverage on perpetual contracts, this is way above the 3-5x and 5-20x leverage offered on spot trading and future trading respectively. Traders are also able to adjust the leverage and margin of an open position, hence increasing flexibility. However, while leveraged trading can lead to massive returns it can also lead to equally massive losses. ByBit offers 100x Leverage on both perpetual contracts.

BitMEX comparison: OMG! A Difference: On ByBit you can use 100x Leverage on ETH (BitMEX has a maximum on 50x for ETH))

Comprehensive contract loss mechanism.

With comprehensive contract loss, ByBit is able to determine who bears what cost when positions cannot be liquidated at bankruptcy. Unlike socialized loss systems where all profitable traders share the loss, ByBit uses the deleveraging system. Users are ranked according to profit ratio and effective leverage and the more profitable and higher leveraged traders(risky traders) are de-leveraged first.

ByBit Fees, Deposit and Withdrawal

Every trade on ByBit has two main parties a marker who places the order and the take who takes the markers order. Takers are charged 0.075% on each order, makers on the other end receive 0.025% on each trade. However, in comparison with BitMEX which also offers derivative trading one can argue that the fees are fair since the fees are identical.

BitMEX Fee Structure

When withdrawing BTC from the ByBit trading platform, you will have to pay 0.0005 BTC. This is 40% lower than the global industry average BTC withdrawal fee (0.0008 BTC) and thus also a very competitive withdrawal fee.

ByBit does not accept fiat deposits and hence first-time cryptocurrencies holders ought to first buy either BITCOIN or Ethereum from entry-level exchanges like Coinbase.

BitMEX Comparsion: Innovation! You can deposit/withdraw in ETH. At least something new!

How to register on ByBit.

If you are not bored to death by now by the copycats of ByBit, or you finally found a use case for your ETH, you might consider registering. ByBit is also very easy to satisfy when it comes to customer data – there is almost none needed. You can register either using your email or phone number. Your phone or email will then be verified via either a text, call, or email and you are now ready to set up. Upon filling all the required fields you are now free to begin trading.

It is important to note that ByBit does not accept traders from the US. This is largely a result of stringent regulatory requirements by the SEC. The SEC imposes strict obligations on any companies that wish to accept funds from US-investors.

Order Types & Trading

ByBit – BitMEX with a Binance Theme

If you ever wished for BitMEX with a Binance theme, ByBit is your way to go! Very funny mashup, that might confuse you in the first place, when you are used to using both of the other exchanges on a regular base. ByBit offers the usual three order types that traders can choose according to their trading needs. Like on the most exchanges you can choose from limit order, market order, and conditional orders. The friendly interface allows users to adjust leverage, commission price, and a number of contracts. Orders can also be executed until close, immediately canceled or canceled completely. The platform also allows users to take profits or stops loss at certain positions of the trade.

Interesting spots: Truly interesting are two things here, which sets ByBit apart from BitMEX. On one hand, you have a currency dropdown in the upper right area, which lets you choose between BTC and ETH for your trade. The second and even more interesting difference is the conditional order. On BitMEX you have these kinds of orders only for stops. If you’d place the same orders without the conditional order engine on BitMEX they would execute against the market order book, on ByBit they become active once certain price conditions are met.

EXAMPLE: Let’s say ETH is at 155 USD and you want to place a short once support at 142 is broken. You cannot place a short order on BitMEX while we are above 142 for 142 and below. On ByBit you can say if the conditional price of 142 is reached, place a limit or market order at 143 short. Finally something new.

Yet another boring Conclusion

Overall, ByBit seems like a really reliable and robust platform for conducting derivatives exchanges. The platform not only has unique features that are not available with many exchanges but also has a vibrant and committed community behind it. As the need for cryptocurrency derivatives continue to rise the popularity of the exchange is also going to increase.

This is the conclusion your average blog would write to lure you into doing the clicky-clicky thing with their affiliate link. The real conclusion is: It is basically the very same offering as BitMEX in a Binance dress. Are there really less “wick-quidations“? It will show if you use it for a while. Is the exchange liquid enough to make trading possible? It seems like, yeah. Do we really need an option to go 100x into ETH? At least the deposit and trading in ETH is something new. But the real deal with ByBit are the conditional orders – that’s a great feature for sure, and we would love to see it on other exchanges as well.

The crypto trading signals we have seen in our test period have been spot on. In this time we traded 13 of their signals and 4 of them reached all targets, eight signals hit target 1 and 2, two hit target 1 and retraced after that. One signal hit stop loss. The beautiful thing is that the channel actively supports you with their signals. They tell you directly once a target has been hit and remind you to raise your stop/loss. We used the following methodology: On target 1 we took out 50% and moved the stop loss a bit above our entry. This way we left the chances for higher targets, locked in a bit of the profit and made the trade risk-free.

Each of the cryptocurrency trading signals came with a calculated risk factor, which is calculated by algorithms (it is a mathematical result based on volatility, volume, market, correlation,…). If this level exceeds specific numbers, crypto trading signals won’t be shared with the community to avoid unnecessary risks. In the past, Crypto Addicts often spread many signals with relatively small targets. This has been happily improved very much. The amount of signals has been reduced, the targets widened, so it is not 100% scalp action. The Critique

I observed how they did when Bitcoin was in a critical area, hovering over a vital support line. The acted accordingly, informed their members and used more conservative targets. What I like to emphasize is how smart they handled their orders and adapted to these difficult markets. They set more conservative targets than the most, which works out very well for their results. This is smart trading as we like it here – smarts money adjusts to the environment and still makes profits, while many others just lose it. However, this also comes with a downside, if Target 1 is set with a very low percentage it is, of course, more likely to be reached. On the other hand, you will have to set your stop loss to entry immediately, because if the initial stop loss kicks in you will lose your profit and some more, finishing a trade with a minus even if target 1 has been reached. In the past, they had quite some problems: The bot had problems with the fill rate on low volume signals, the tiny target strategy did not work for everyone and their BitMEX service had a rocky start. The community reacted harshly. However, we have to see how hard Crypto Addicts worked to even everything out. This feature allows the bot to secure the BTCs by selling them against the USDT in the event of signals of a downward market trend. To be honest this is by far the most advanced Telegram bot that I have been tested.

Low-volume coins signals are also sent, but these are not automatically processed by the bot in order to avoid pump and dump, which is a good thing. Mid-term or long-term strategies are also sent along with charts and recommendations on entry prices, TP and SL as well as advices if some of us are already in position or not. But these strategies have to be handle by the users.

THE JUDGEMENT

Crypto Addicts provide a technically very advanced service. Their auto trader bot is feature-rich without becoming overwhelming, great software. Crypto Addicts is frankly more than the usual crypto signals channel. It is a real company, with clearly set goals and a roadmap they follow. The list of available services gets extended month by month and while I would not make use of all of these services it is very interesting to see the progress. I have the feeling, that some of these like the AI trading bot, are tested a bit too early in the wild (whilst still clearly marked as Beta test), but the refined products end up quite well. The Auto Trader bots started clonky, but are now in very good shape and have been constantly updated, so they got better and better. The signals itself are good. they are not too ambitious when it comes to the targets to be reached, but come all with a nice Risk/Reward ratio meanwhile (it was different in the past, but has been massively improved now). The pricing is very competitive, and for all the intel and tech you get here it is a steal.

The Signals

The signals come plain and simple here, always with the appropriate technical analysis attached. In September we saw a nice 100% trade, which could have even become a 200% trade if we’d hold it for more ($XRP) – these guys catch those movers and have a great hand for the right picks. This is not a fluffed up service with tons of features. They bring what they are paid for: successful binance signals – and boy, they delivered even in the worst markets. Fat Pig Signals are able to deliver results. Recently we see accuracy rates between 90 and 100%, but we are in good market conditions. It is more important to consider the results they have shown when everything was red, like in our test month, which ended pretty positive with around 110% profit – and that while Bitcoin headed sub 4k. What I liked very much that these AGP (Account Growth Potential) has been achieved with just around 14 trades, so they don’t overdo it with the trades, but instead select carefully the good ones. The stops never exceeded 10% loss, so they always kept a good Risk:Reward ratio in mind and the few losses have been ironed out nicely. One cannot count the many trade setups which have been posted in direct customer communication in their chat room, which is very active, but surely you can grab some education there in a loose and funny atmosphere (ok sometimes the jokes go a bit far, but it is a thing of taste, I guess).

They are always around and they maintain quite a neat big support team, and there is always someone near, willing to help. The traders are very active themselves are very active in the chat room and always around when it comes to the need for a helping hand. Customers can also request help in private messages, they are very easy and one has to ask when do they ever sleep.

The Critique

No big critics here. They always consider the Bitcoin movement before handing out a signal, they have proper stops in place. They support their members very actively in their chat. The Risk:Reward might be considered as mediocre, though to some if you consider its ratio between target 1, the stop and the finally locked in target gains. However, this is a critique on paper and totally OK if it is their strategy which helps them to keep up with the high accuracy provided.

The channel has a very unique flavor, which you cannot bring this down to a few words. They don’t feature much extras and gimmicks, they plain and simple offer rocking altcoin signals, no matter how bad the markets are. The Signals

First Point I want to mention is the signals themselves. So, to be honest when I joined, I thought TA is just nonsense, but FPS taught me the opposite. For these updates, you get also provided the TA why these Targets are where they are, and you will learn a lot just from reading these Updates. If you have some further questions why this price-level should act as Support or Resistance, there is the open Telegram group where you can ask anything and have lots of fun in there. This leads me to my third point.

The Chat Room & Support

The third point is the Telegram Group and the Admins in there. Since I joined FPS I´m spending a lot of time in the Fat Pig Chat. There are quite a lot of admins and it seems as there would be a 24/7 support. If you have any questions about recent Signals that were shared or even, you have some questions about your personal TA just ask in there. There are a lot of pretty good traders in there that are willing to help you within minutes. The Binance signals are served per the Telegram Cryptomedics Bot, which manages your membership. Signals are called CTA (Call to Action) at Cryptomedics. Incoming signals look like this and are automatically updated by the bot, which is very convenient, as you have always up-to-date information. It looks like this:

The 5-10 crypto trading signals per week don’t look much, but it is the overall package you get here. It is critical that traders usually tend to overtrade and CryptoMedics want to avoid this mistake for their users. The calls are very selected to only valuable ones with high reliability. The given altcoin signals (which are mostly based on a mix of technical analysis and fundamentals). Head Trader for the Altcoin department is Jakov, a seasoned crypto trader who knows his stuff very well (he published the Weekly Open Strategy on SmartOptions a while ago) – 100% accuracy months are not rare with his trades, but also his companion Alexander comes with nice altcoin trades. Two traders at your fingertips here, but there are even more for BitMEX signals.

However, the thing you are interested the most is the accuracy right? And it is very good for both kind of signals. CryptoMedics has been three times in a row provider of the month, back in the days when we calculated the profit into the results. This means they mostly trade the broader ranges and profits, but still they adopt to the markets. If they trade in tight ranges in general, they also go for scalps and take whatever the market gives them.

Often you get signals which you prolly would never have paid attention to. I have personally seen these 300% profit trades with CryptoMedics. Great picks. The fundamental trades are also rock-solid. Their particular pick from their newsletter magazine (HKN) achieved 60% in profits, for example. Technical analysis is not provided for all trades; this could be improved. We get a Bitcoin analysis with every impact move and boy, these are great! They have one trader who is analyzing the BTC moves alone to update you about the market situation, and he called the drop from 19,5k to the recently touched 3k area (pay attention to the long-term analysis by their trader XHB for that!)

They had a time where they refrained from Altcoin trades but came back with double force. Right now we look at 100% accuracy months – the team did a great job. With an overall accuracy of 80.84% since September ’18, they do way more than just a rock-solid job for the Binance signals.

CryptoMedics BitMEX Signals Review

Cryptomedics is a well-known channel for special information nobody else has, as well as for great technical analysts. These guys definitely know what they are doing and have quite a big team to deliver some seriously good stuff. Their Elite channel was the only chance to get into their margin channel until now, but recently they opened it, along with their altcoin signals in a bundle for lower budgets. So besides the BitMEX signals, you also get their valuable altcoin signals as well, which we reviewed in the paragraph above. For their customers they have prepared documents and webinars ready to make sure no one does stuff on BitMEX, they do not understand. Very good level of education, which is an important spot for Cryptomedics (SmartOptions wrote with CryptoMedics the BitMEX Guide in collaboration). The channel also comes often with general Bitcoin strategy updates – how to react to the recent ongoing things, how to be prepared for eventualities.

The trader team for leveraged trading has Jonas, Alexander, and Jakov in charge and these guys truly rock it with their signals. Also the head of education, Hendo, offer signals from time to time. Personally, I fancy the cold, rational trades by Jonas as my favorite. They offer pretty great margin calls with exact instructions of what to do and where to buy in. The entries come in a staggered manner but the ranges are often happily reasonable. They also trade alts on BitMEX, but honestly, it doesn’t matter, they just kill it there, no matter what they touch! They have a nice set of great traders in their stack, which will give you much more than just simply buy and sell signals. They offer the traders also very good education, taught along with the signals. Their trader XHB called the short when Bitcoin hit an all-time high, he even called it to go down to the 3k area where it is right now – and got banned from several groups for publicizing his opinion. He is your guy for long-term recommendations. Their trader Jonas is a fantastic day trader, a math guy that really knows his shit and is in the trading game for a very long time – way before Crypto was a thing for the masses. Jakov and Alexander are their newest addition to the team and they post very elaborate signals with a heavy emphasis on the education factor. Jakov is also in charge of live streams and live trades with the clients, hosts webinars and Twitch sessions. The signals are often updated while running as the traders seem to have stopped sleeping, giving you the best possible returns. GREAT stuff that makes me really rave about them!

The signals come with technical analysis and most often with an explained reasoning right after, also the trading style (like day trade or swing trade) is mentioned. Basically, they offer three kinds of signals:

The third one of the three is all about pre-planned scenarios to play longer and bigger swings on BitMEX. You just allocate the funds, set the trades and forget about them – and one morning when you wake up and check your account – pling – trades are active and running nicely (my experience so far).

Furthermore, they developed a really good sheet on Google Docs which lets you calculate the sizing for each position to stay in line with perfect risk management. This, in conjunction, with being “SIGNAL PROVIDER OF THE MONTH” for the third time in a row makes Cryptomedics a solid choice.

The CryptoMedics Elite Plan

The Elite Plan is the heart piece of the Cryptomedics universe and aims for the investors beneath the crypto audience. Here is everything about long-term investments. The Elite membership itself is a long-term investment. The big Cryptomedics team covers several Fundamental Analysts which dissect crypto projects on a level like managed funds would do it before they invest into something for their clients. They provide very detailed fundamental analysis’ for the projects they add to their long-term list. For Elite Members they have a Portfolio Analysis service which will go through your portfolio on a very deep level, they tell you what to kick out at which price, where to rebalance with other coins, how to buy in the gem list and help you to build a polished portfolio step by step.

The Elite Plan also contains several bots, like a very advanced coin detector for exchanges. This listing bot pops up and tells you when a new coin is going to be listed at a specific exchange. Elite members knew it pretty early when Coinbase listed XRP for example. The other bot is an Arbitrage bot which scans several exchanges for price differences which one could try to exploit.

So the Elite Package is more for investors than for (day) traders, but often people catch fire once the success rolls in. The Results

The results by CryptoMedics are doubtless good and if go carefully through their trades, you will find evidence that real pros are issuing the calls. In 95% of the cases you will find a great risk:reward like in the example above. You will also find that each of the trader team has its own signature moves, the trades have a DNA. They respect the BTC dependance mostly and if you look the March results, for example, you will notice they go for smaller gains on their Binance trades when their analyst team smells a big destructive move, which could hurt Altcoin trades. Better safe than sorry, that could be a motto of CryptoMedics, a channel that values capital protection more than like the most. Cryptomedics Trading Course

The videos all come in decent quality. The sound is ok, not top-notch but you understand everything without crackles and stuff. The course is put together with many powerpoint like sheets but also with live trading examples. Hendo explains much stuff directly on the charts, and this will create quite some AHA effects, teaching you what happens right in front of you.

All in all a really complete course that teaches the much more than just the basics of support and resistance. It is indeed a very good base to learn trading. But, as with every course, you have to keep in mind that you are not just a opened brain, where you can pour knowledge in. You have to view the videos, put some time into the understanding and especially the transferring. The success with this course lies in the transfer – you MUST take action and try the things you saw on your own. Support has you covered, so just use it and ask them lots of questions!

Well, the support was one of the best we’ve seen in Telegram Crypto Land. Their chat rooms are pretty busy and their big and motivated team contributes to a great support service.

One of the team is always around and they are always willing to help. They are always laid back and relaxed and will give you their best advice for sure.

What makes this Channel unique?

CryptoMedics is a unique channel, hence it is listed in both of our shortlists. They are quite different from the most you can find on Telegram as they take their job very seriously. It is an incorporated company and they do act like one. The signals are very good, no question. But the inside knowledge, the very in-depth research on projects (for their Elite channel) is one of a kind. Before they add a project to their gem list before they recommend an ICO – they often visit the projects in real life – I found that in no other channel.

Besides this great package they offer, they have one point which is very unique: their access to information, only a minority has. We can’t go deeper on this one here, but they are VERY WELL CONNECTED and can deliver news very early. The Critique

While the trades by CryptoMedics are really safe shots, the targets are often set quite low. This used to be different in the past. Sure, there are trades aiming for nice profits, but the majority is in the 10-30% range. As said in the post, this happens to derisk the trades in a risky environment. As soon as the markets turn to more stable and broader ranges, this surely will change again. It is difficult to list this a negative point as you really cannot compare Cryptomedics to the other channels as they adapt to the market very much. Three month ago, when the markets have been more active, you got updates on the trades on a very special level, tweaking your profits to the max while educating you about the trades.

THE JUDGEMENT

CryptoMedics is one of my all-time favorites. You might have figured that from writing. It is like this for a reason: I like if someone dares to do things in a different way and I value it if someone takes things seriously and therefore goes the extra mile, BEFORE recommending stuff to the public. Cryptomedics hired professional traders, that give very reasonable trade suggestions with great Risk:Reward and guidance on the way through the targets. I can#t say what fascinates me the most about Cryptomedics. I guess it is the professional way, the constant progress of the channel which makes it a completely different experience than the most you will find on Telegram. Great Calls, Great Education, A-Grade Support and Community Management, or the research that takes things deeply seriously – this is the mix I really like and value.

Their Bitmex, as well as their Binance Signals, are ultra successful, so they use it as a vehicle to grow your BTC stack over there, garnered with a few selected Gem buys here and there, which are mostly winners in the long run. If you want to signup for altcoin signals alone, I would consider a channel from the above. If you want to use the bear market for building a GREAT portfolio along with their fantastic and often updated gem list, the Elite membership is for you – these guys will get you prepared with the right altcoin portfolio for the next bull run.

For both, the BitMEX and the Altcoin channel, you will have months with smaller growth and – once the markets allow it again – months with very impressive growth. And this is a good thing, as it tells us that CryptoMedics cares about capital protection in the first place.
