smART Saturday : Miró Monster Making Workshop

Join smARTStudio at the Akron Childrens Museum for a Monster Making Workshop inspired by the work of Joan Miró.

Combining the abstract and fantasy, Miró explored collage, painting, lithography, and sculpture to create works that are full of imaginative and colorful characters. During Monster Making Workshop, we’ll create creatures using lines, shapes, and colors while exploring many art making materials. Participants will leave with a two dimensional drawing and a three dimensional sculpture.
