Since it is mentioned she needs contact lenses (imagine, for her big eyes lol), I have a feeling that she has her regular glasses somewhere and wears them to read and write her articles. However, nothing and no one can convince her to wear them in public. She has to keep her perfect girl image intact.

Malina tries to control her emotions at the sight of Caspian in his wolf form. Those adorable little eyes of his make her heart explode with joy, and she carefully approaches. "Aw, how can I say no to you when you're like that?" she talks in a baby voice before kneeling beside him. Her hands start to rub and scratch his fluffy belly while she chuckles.

Malina squeals as she almost falls. She had just tripped over a classmate who was (and is still) reading a comic scroll. However, she isn't truly paying close attention to the details, so she assumes it's Kuzco. He usually does that kind of stuff, which pisses her off. Turning her head quickly, her eyes land immediately on the boy, and she growls. "Kuzco! I truly would appreciate it if you could read your comic scroll somewhere else. Just because you're emperor doesn't mean-" The girl interrupts herself as she realizes the person right in front of her is not her arrogant friend. "Wait a minute... Kronk?!" She gasps in disbelief, having a hard time registering that she's actually looking at a rather... different version of him.

It's hosted by the royal recordkeeper. They are married 2 years at this point, living in the palace and Kuzco is ruling over an empire that has unique problems at this point which is stressing him out. Malina is annoyed he keeps snapping at her, she nags him all the time for making any mistakes despite the stress he's in but deep down she just mostly feels neglected by him. They're starting to dislike being around eachother even though they obviously still love eachother and possibly have a baby on the way.... 😁

Yeah I love Kuzlina angst. I can't wait to watch Zootopia 2 I'm sure it will give me many more ideas. Nick and Judy are so cute aren't they? So similar to these two in many ways. 😄

Malina puffs out her cheeks a little, pretending to be upset. Her eyebrows raise in plain confusion at the sight of Kuzco retreating, and that's when she realizes that she'll have to gather enough courage to not explode at him. She crosses her arms over her chest, waiting for him to spill the beans. "My... Okay, let me get this straight. You THREW the cake at my grandma?! What, was she in the way of your fabulous 'Kuzco dance'?" She guesses. However, when he mentions that something worse happened, Malina slaps her hand over her forehead, and she has to breathe in and out a few times. If she wants Kuzco to tell her everything, she must stay calm and fight the urge to murder him right here and now. "No, you tell me, Kuzco. What did you do? You pushed my mom off the stage when she was giving me the ceremonial headdress? oh, or better yet... talk about how incredibly awesome you are like... for an hour?" She narrows her eyes.

I-That's not true! Even if I was, it'd be your fault, clearly. You are too dirty minded yourself! Avoids his stare as she's still blushing furiously. Oh, does he like naughty Malina?~ Of course he does. Just ask her if he wants to take up on her offer and she'd gladly make his wishes come true. But you left me intrigued, so tell me what were you GOING to tell me! Chuckles, amused. Of course I agree! But, I think the pages would look even better if my face was also there. And no. You need a comedy partner. I know, don't thank me. You're welcome. She melts, swoons and feels butterflies in her stomach just from that little kiss on her nose alone. He's just so good in toying with her emotions. He first irritates her and the next second he calms her down and makes her happy and then the cycle repeats itself, it was like a rollercoaster for her, but she secretly enjoys it. She lets him rest his head against hers but then she raises an eyebrow in confusion at his words and looks up at him. You... DID WHAT, KUZCO?! Pinches the birdge of her nose and sighs. Ugh, nevermind. I can have an idea of how the party could be ruined. As long as you didn't throw the cake at me, I guess it's... fine.

Malina laughs like a little girl and keeps wacking Kuzco with her pillow until she gets tired and eventually stops. The batting of his eyelashes makes her melt inside, but he doesn't need to know that. "Oh, you mean that you're an expert on how to be extremely lazy?" She teases again. Of course, Kuzco is looking at himself in the mirror to check on his hair. She has the urge to roll her eyes and throw a pillow at him. "Okay, hold on. Messy Malina was just here by accident. I didn't realize I kicked the food out of the bed. You're still the king of disaster." She jokes before glancing at the robe and the pair of slippers in his hand. She had never expected him to give her something to wear, and Malina suddenly feels bad for bullying him. "Thank you..." She says, and with a sweet grin in return, she takes the clothes and puts them on quietly, fully aware of his gaze as she does so. The guilt she felt a few seconds ago vanishes at his teasing, and Malina approaches where he's sitting down and playfully wacks his thigh with her hand. "But you'll be awesome enough to fix it if you dare to leave me like that again, right?" she smirks and sits on the edge with him and hugs him. "Mhm, you do. When will you take me to a spa?"

"Hm, can you blame me, though? There was no way I was going to admit that I kind of liked bad boy you." She buries her face in his chest for a second. Malina can stay like this with him for a long time. He's surprisingly comfortable and soft. The way Kuzco says those words to her makes her shiver in glee and excitement. If you ask her, she wouldn't be able to describe in exact detail the happiness she's feeling now. Malina has dated several boys in the past, but no one has ever been this gentle and sincere with her like Kuzco is. He's not the same superficial guy he once was when he wanted to get rid of her zit, and she loves that.

"I know you will be. I trust you, Kuzco. I'll be here for you too so you won't get rid of me so easily from now on." Malina whispers back and allows him to tighten his embrace. Her eyes widen as she sees him laughing his ass off. She's shocked he finds this moment amusing, but once he mentions that infamous bowl of grapes and the poor servant, Malina can't take it anymore and laughs with Kuzco. She grabs a pillow and playfully wacks his arm with it before he slips out of bed. "Y-YEAH, RIGHT! because I was the only naughty monster who attacked you! you are an innocent angel." Her eyes follow him as he supervises the mess both had made while she sits on the bed, hugging her knees, which are covered by the sheets. "I guess so, but in my defense, I wasn't used to eating food in a bedroom. Maybe a few royal lessons about that wouldn't hurt." Another hot flush billows into her cheeks when she sees Kuzco's guard come in the scene to clean the mess up and immediately covers her bare chest with the sheets. She stays like that until the man finishes and walks out. "I hope he doesn't come in again tonight. You should give me a robe too! The Empress' robes are probably super wet." She pouts.

Nevertheless, despite Kuzco's evident lie about the Moonbeast's existence, they keep hearing strange noises nearby, causing Kronk to shudder in slight fear. Now, a particular roar reaches Malina's ears, and she stays alert, stopping in her tracks as her eyes land upon a bush. "Hey, stop!" She commands. The animal or whatever it is must be there waiting to attack. She tries to stay calm, but she's also kind of scared.
