" Scarecrows huh??... PSH!! EASY!! I bet I can make- or find- the scariest one that'll make all the other ones here look like cheap piles of GARBAGE!... How do you make a scarecrow?... "

" EH!- I'll find something eventually! Ehehehe!~ "

That pumpkin was way too small for Metal Face to carve accurately in any way. And yet, the pumpkin was carved!

Happy squeaks! Yay! Friend! He got up close to its face with his face and purred happily!

“Alright, alright, I’ll take this more seriously…”

It took Damon some time to actually come up with an idea for his scarecrow. While he was not exactly artistically inclined, at least something popped into mind as he wandered about Halloween Town. It might blend in a little too well with the foliage, but if he was going to show more people the beauty of the spooky beasties of his world, it would have to do.

His materials were an unused coat rack, some logs, a stump, branches, dead leaves, some rope, tape, plus a red apple with some gold coloring here and there. After hollowing out the larger parts and carving a specific detail into one, he went about fitting everything together to encompass his vision.

While it was not a perfect one-to-one for comparison, he looked to be satisfied with his work.

“These fellas would be more likely to house Murkrow in their branches, rather than scare ‘em away, but… I dunno, they can still be pretty spooky.”

After taking a painstaking amount of care in fashioning his own pumpkin, Death wiped at his forehead and sighed in relief.

"I challenged myself to try and carve this using only my scythe. Let's just say I had a decent bit of inspiration for this one."

Now, as we decorate the town and hotel with your creations, you might want to hold on to one for the next task---

Scarecrows!

Using whatever materials you can find, please create the most terrifying scarecrow you can. Do your best to inspire the Master of Fright!

Scariest Scarecrow challenge?

You know what. He can do this one.

And he's still in a petty mood from what happened with his encounter with that stupid ghost!!

So with a couple trips to the hotel....

All he had to 'borrow' were a ragged stitched pillow, lots of white towels, a pair of rakes, a pair of dark witches' brooms with the sticks sawed off, a red lip balm that fell out of someone's purse, and an old white fedora that he found while rummaging in the garbage....

...And voilà.

If this wins him anything, good.

If it doesn't win as the 'scariest' one, then it's also good and it just proves his point that the jerk just got lucky. Hmph!
