Why are you using chatgpt to get through college. Why are you spending so much time and money on something just to be functionally illiterate and have zero new skills at the end of it all. Literally shooting yourself in the foot. If you want to waste thirty grand you can always just buy a sportscar.
#i do not have common medications and their uses memorized for shits and giggles#i can't just take the 30 seconds or whatever to look it up while on a call with a patient when said call needs only to be about 30s total#i sometimes discuss mechanisms of action with pharmacists themselves#because i also have metabolic knowledge (even if i don't have pharmacological knowledge)#do i use any of my kinetics or thermo knowledge?#no! but that doesn't mean it didn't serve to inform me on how the things i DO use works#which i use in identifying the various drugs in the same class/category#you need every part of a science degree to properly understand studies and experimental design#you need to learn the basics because science is a Language and you cannot understand it without the fundamentals#people who rely on genAI for their knowledge fail to understand that all knowledge is cumulative#you learn skills in your education that you will use in the workforce#even if the precise knowledge you learned is not used#offloading assignments that you don't think are 'necessary' will rob you of those skills#and then it turns out you can't do any job at all#because you failed to learn the fundamental skills AND the auxillary ones
