Sean: What if idont have anymore wine by te time you get here?
Sean: How serious of consequences?
Sean: I'll go home to get it next time and send you pictures.
Sean: ... she's already sort of seen me withsomeone else. it was awkward but fine.
Rory: What if I cry?
Rory: A very serious, potentially painful, punishment will ensue. Is that what you want?
Rory: Yes. Do that.
Rory: I want to laugh at you. :)
Rory: ... oh.
Rory: When did she see that?

“You’re so extra.” Rosalie rolled her eyes playfully, shaking her head. “I took it so after I order Chinese, we can have some quality conversations with no distractions.” She then placed his cell on the side of her thigh and picked up her own to contact the local Chinese delivery.
“Hey!” Offense was written across Rory’s face. “I’m only extra, not so extra. That’s just offensive,” he replied with a huff. “Quality conversations? I always have those, phone or not. I’m great at conversation, it’s part of my charm,” he explained, batting his eyelashes. There was a huff that followed, sinking down in the couch as he waited for her to get off the phone. “Okay. What are the quality conversations we’re having now? You start.”

Aya never knew exactly what to think when it came to Rory, but she liked to think that he was nice. Even if sometimes he was a bit flirty, he never crossed any lines that made her too uncomfortable so she managed to give him a smile when he approached her, though it quickly changed to confusion. “Halloween cookies?” she asked before understanding lit up her expression. “Oh, I know what you mean, we have some of those at home. I’m not sure if the store is still open, but you’re welcome to come over and have a few. Just don’t tell Henry I let you steal some of his cookies,” she joked lightly, having had enough to drink to loosen her up without making her unfit to drive. “I don’t know what I’d even ask for if I wanted to. … promise to go out to see another movie with me? I really want to see this new horror movie I heard about, but I don’t want to go alone.”
“You have some?” Rory’s entire face lit up in excitement, leaning closer to Aya. “Really? You’ll share with me? I’ll keep my lips zipped, promise,” he said with a nod of his head, even reaching up to pretend to do so, wiggling his eyebrows after. “I... horror movie?” Rory frowned, not sure how he felt about that, considering he hated them and scared easily... but that also meant more popcorn and snacks, plus the cookies he so badly wanted. “Yes, deal. I love horror movies. My favorite, and what better way to get in the spirit than the cookies and scary movies? Genius,” he slurred out, clapping his hands together. “You really are becoming my favorite person ever, you know that? Or second favorite because I already have a favorite that has to always be my favorite even though I don’t want them to be my favorite... but after that is quickly becoming you.”

Rolling his eyes–but fondly–as Rory spoke, Sean found himself sighing a little. “This is what you’re calling an emergency?” he asked, holding up his phone with the text he’d gotten before finding that he was laughing it all off easily. “Have they even started selling those yet? Halloween is still like… more than a month away, isn’t it?” But it wasn’t like Sean made a habit out of denying Rory things that he wanted and they both knew that he was going to give in long before he’d even showed up tonight. “I probably owe you enough for this anyway. Besides, you’re always nice enough for me to want to do this for you.” Sean reached over to pinch Rory’s cheek lightly, chuckling. “… how low? Out of idle curiosity.”
When Sean questioned him, Rory reacted in strong offense, looking at him as if he’d asked the most ridiculous question in the world. “Yes, this is an emergency. I’m hungry and I have no way of getting the cookies except... walking, and who ever wants to do that? It’s late. I could get murdered. See? Emergency.” He grinned proudly with his words, nodding in approval. “It’s never too early to start celebrating, silly. Or... it’s never too early to start making a profit.” He hummed, nodding his head. “You owe me all the time,” he decided, nodding his head and meeting Sean’s gaze. “... the lowest of low. I’d do... anything.”

“How could you not?” Fox asked, looking scandalized at the mere idea of that. He wasn’t even complaining about Rory hogging the rest of the food, too busy looking offended. “Act? Are you kidding me? I mean, it was dumb, it was boring and it failed on every single solitary thing it tried to do…. I have never seen anything so beautiful. Sean? Cute teacher guy?” Fox raised an eyebrow with a little too much interest, though he was in too good of a mood at the moment to think evil thoughts. “I want to be offended by that, but honestly I’m a lot more offended by your missing all the absolute beauty of that picture. I’ll take Mon. She understands me.”
“So you’re saying it was great because... it was literally the worst?” Rory eyed him skeptically. “I’m a fan of liking movies that are so terrible it’s hilarious, sure, but that didn’t even manage... that kinda terrible, babe. It was a hot, hot mess,” he said, shaking his head, mouth full of popcorn when he heard Fox say Sean’s name. He glanced up for a moment, frowning ever so slightly. “Yeah, that’s the one. You know him?” He squinted, ready to attack if he heard anything he didn’t like. “She understands you, sure. Whatever you say. As long as I don’t have to watch that ever again, I’ll live the rest of my life at peace.”

Sean: Ruels? There's a rule that i have to share?
Sean: My parents still have my leather jacket from high school. i migt be able to break that back out. Charming anyone might be a lost cause, you're right.
Sean: You're welcome.
Sean: I think we are. She said she wants to be so alls well that ends well?
Sean: It would be nice.
Rory: Mhmm. The Rory Rulebook says so, and you have to listen to that or pay the very serious consequences. :/
Rory: God, please do.
Rory: I mean, it would be funny. To see if you still fit in it.
Rory: Hopefully. I'd hate it if she's actually bitter and misses you and then beats you up when she sees you with someone else. That'd be the worst.

mackenzieroth:
To be honest, Mackenzie wasn’t sure if this guy was talking to her or the bar stool next to her. He seemed sloshed enough that she would wager he didn’t really know either. “That is one of the weirdest drunk food cravings I’ve ever heard of. Or–well, it’s at least the most specific,” she responded with a laugh. Now that he’d mentioned it, though…twas the season for autumnal sugar cookies, right? And it wasn’t like she had much interest in sitting her and becoming as drunk as her apparent new friend was; she’d just desperately needed something to do besides stare at the walls of her apartment. Reaching into her purse, she grabbed her car keys. “You’re so lucky I haven’t started drinking yet,” she said, now motioning for him to stand. “I’ll take you if you buy me a pack of them too. You just made me hungry as fuck.”
“I’m in the spirit... and I like cookies,” he explained simply, his eyebrows pulled together as if he were in very serious thought about it, before huffing dramatically. “... wait, you’re really gonna get me the cookies? Just like that?” His dramatic huffing turned to surprise, and soon after excitement, stumbling to his feet. “I... buy you cookies?” He looked hesitant, being someone who didn’t do things for others normally, but eventually, he gave in. “Alright. Can we play a game of who can eat them faster? ‘Cause I’ll win, and then you’ll have to buy me something... and you look nice, but... don’t kill me. I think that’s pretty obvious that I’d rather not die, though,” he rambled, his words slurred as he followed after the shorter girl.

Emily leaned away, barely able to contain her laugh. “Ya know, those cookies aren’t just around at Halloween, right?” She took a sip of her drink, then shrugged. “You don’t have to be nice at all; fuck pity kindness.” She finally let a laugh escape, then shook her head a bit. “Still though, I think I’m pretty comfortable here.”
“Well, no, they’re different cookies all the time, but right now they’re Halloween ones and I’d really like to get in a spooky mood,” he decided, slumping onto the counter and letting out a dramatic huff. “I was going to compliment your eyes an’ all that stuff, but now I guess I’ll just think about how pretty I am,” he decided, followed by a quiet laugh. “So you don’t want to share the cookies with me? Rude and offensive.”

“You know what’s bad about me getting drunk?” Rory glanced over, doing his best to focus on the person he was speaking to with heavily slurred words. “I always get so hungry. I mean, I’m always hungry, but all I can think about now is those... are those, uh - Halloween cookies. The really soft ones with sprinkles, ugh...” He groaned at the thought, using the palm of his hand to slump over the bar. “How nice do I have to be to you to convince you to drive me to the store to get some? My dignity for the night is low, I’m just saying... I suggest you take advantage of it, darling.”

they smirked to the amusing compliment && stared deeply into the eyes of the other male. “ talented musician, huh ? wouldn’t exactly call it that but thank you. “ he laughed softly as he lifted his hand up, slightly fixing his messy front hair. “ it’s not every day you meet such a charmin’ fella in this staircase.. though i can assure you, it’s because of the stairs, not my voice “ they gave the other a charismatic look, the kind smile still present in their expression. “ do you live here ? i don’t exactly chitchat with the neighbors too much, not to mention pay attention to people who walk across the halls of this building. "
The intense eye contact caught Rory by surprise, particularly because of how rare it was to find people doing by choice anymore. Luckily, Rory just met with the same intensity, mostly always happy to show off his blue eyes. It was one of his favorite attributes about himself. “Modesty? Always an attractive trait,” he said, clumsily shifting to lean on the staircase railing, still taking heavy breaths, embarrassingly enough. “Might be a bit ‘a both,” he argued, grinning in return. “I live here. Damn elevator broke, but I’m starting to think it could’ve been a blessing. I’ve only met a few neighbors... noise complaints and cookies, that’s about all. I’m Rory,” he finally said, sticking his hand out for the other.

ashcraw:
The bartender could only look at Rory with a blank, emotionless expression, his eyes seeming to have no source of life or interest in them as he spoke. Ashton wasn’t a intimate guy, maybe because he didn’t know how to be or maybe because he just didn’t want to be. Either way, he saw it as an impossibility. He could never be as smooth as Rory even with practice, he assumed to be this way forever, but even with his negative thoughts, his friend seemed to crack at least a sarcastic smile from the apathetic. “One, I have never had any urge to cuddle a human being and Two, I hate children to the bitter extent of me.. and Three, If you can assure there is at least a hot piece of ass I can look at then I MIGHT go with you”
“Never? You’re not meeting the right humans,” Rory blunted decided. “Children are... whatever. Time consuming and better when you’re older, and in a happy and healthy relationship, sure.” He paused, then, letting out a noise of offense. “You think I’m gonna set up a double date with people who aren’t hot?” He paused. “Besides, the answer would still be yes, because I’d be on the date.”

Olivia remained calm in her features, emerald orbs scanning over the purple and red swelled skin. She could easily see more smaller love bites trailed down the back of his ear, a slender digit subconsciously ghosting over the hairs of his flesh. She seemed deep within her thoughts before a sudden realization came over her, making her pull away to give him a sassy reply, emerald orbs narrowing at him before she took a drink of her beer,
“I think you’re an idiot.”
“Hey!” Offense was mixed with amusement as she finally spoke, starting to nervously rub at the spot she spoke about. “First you’re telling me it looks like I’m dying, which - a guy died from hickeys once, you know that? It’s true, and I could be next. Then you’re calling me an idiot. Is this the kinda stuff you want to say to me before I die? I’d prefer if you started to admit you’re madly in love with me, thank you.”

“I put my heart and soul into those poems… though honestly laughter might be the best response I could get.” He chuckled lightly despite being at least a little bit serious in his words. In every poem he felt like he had dumped a lot of himself into it, always wanting to believe he could match the feeling of the great poets, but he never could manage to get it to come through on paper. “Maybe, but I wouldn’t want to if it gets in the way of you being happy.” And that ultimately was why he’d probably surrender the poems over in the end, making Rory happy had always been a priority for him ever since the night they’d found out about his parents. “Of course. The most special one I can think of, I promise you that.” After all, Sean was sure he still had a long way to go in order to get forgiveness. “Hey,” he tried to say, feigning offense for just a moment before a smile overtook his expression. “I know you better than anyone, I can figure it out, I’m sure,” Sean decided, grinning at him. “You say that about everything.”
“You put your heart and soul into them, and you think I wouldn’t enjoy them?” Rory lowered his chin, his expression much softer, now. “Babe, anything you’ve put passion in, I’m going to love it. I can promise you that much right now. I’d never laugh at something you cared about.” Only say hateful things about it - but that was strictly when it came to Elena. “I’m pretty happy right now. I’ve got a good job, a nice house, a cute dog... what more could I ask for?” Love and championship that lasted longer than a night, maybe, but he wasn’t ever so willing to admit that allowed just yet. He had not had enough to drink. “Special, just like me?” With that was followed by an over the top batting of his eyelashes, before breaking off into a laugh. “You did know me very well, yes, but people change, don’t they? I could be an entirely new person now, you never know,” he suggested. “I only say it about things that sound gay... which is most things that come out of your mouth, and that’s doubled when you’re sitting in a gay bar, darling.”

It was the truly terrible things that Fox appreciated most in life. He somehow couldn’t help but love the things that everyone else couldn’t stand which made him actually genuinely giddy after leaving that movie. “What?” Fox asked, genuinely surprised by the reaction. It wasn’t like he didn’t know the movie was bad, but there was something endearing about just how bad it was. “Are you trying to tell me that you didn’t like it?” He actually pouted at the idea alone. “You’re kidding me, that was an absolute masterpiece of cinema. The cream of the crop. The best thing I’ve seen in years… I’ll take Mon with me next time. At least she has an appreciation for the best of the best.”
“That’s exactly what I’m telling you. I didn’t like it,” Rory replied, bluntly, as he still continued shoveling popcorn between his lips. “You can drop the act, you know. You can admit it was a nightmare. I’m glad I didn’t take Sean to see it, I’d rather see the new scary clown movie, maybe he’ll let me hold his hand...” Rory sighed dreamily, clearly getting sidetracked. “What? Yes, take her. She likes terrible things, and she’s also almost as annoying as the movie itself. It’s perfect for her... and for you.”

Scar: Because we'd have a good time
Rory: Not to me? I'm off limits, duh.
Rory: Will we? How can you be so sure?
