The most challenging part of the year was being on-point for every show of a huge stadium tour. There was a lot to remember and balance with all the surprise guest performances, but it was worth it. I feel like we created memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

if you see someone being interrupted in a conversation, acknowledge them, don’t let them be pushed to the side. if you see someone lagging behind, walk beside them. if someone is being ignored, take the step to include them. always remind people of their worth. it hurts when it feels like you’re being forgotten. that small gesture can mean a lot.

I do not understand what the big rush is all the time…. Go at your own pace. Go to college when you feel like you’re ready. Get your first job when you feel like you can handle it. Move out when you are financially able to. Get married when it’s right, not because all your friends are. Don’t do any of that just because of your age and feel like you need to. Slow down, you’re doing just fine.

You get to a point where it’s like you can’t really do anything right and people will pick on you for whatever decisions you make, so I just try and take no notice and get on with my music.
