As QTBIPOC, a form of LGBTQA-phobia we often face is from our own ethnic groups, who believe that queer = foreign.

Yet when we delve into our histories, we see that nothing could be further than the truth. In many of our cultures, before Western influence, our queerness was ANCIENT. ✨

Connie used to be quite isolated. She starts off being a very loner bookworm type. This isn’t wrong and it’s okay to be like that but I feel that Steven was one of her first real friends. Steven opened doors for her to become more like the Connie we know today. At first she was shy, unsure of herself but determined to study and work hard. Steven facilities that determination into her social life. He listens to all her interests and she opens up even more. He helped her to be more of herself openly with arms outwide. 

Oh and he healed her eyesight. She used to wear glasses. I mean people pay a lot of money to gain their eyesight back permanently and she got it for free. So that’s something as well.
