Weekly update

This week I managed to finish some sprites that are now ready to be added to the game! Several others are still in the painting phase, and many sketches are already being used as placeholders in simpler scenes, which allows me to code a good portion of the dialogue!

Some new transitions were also added, and their coding took a bit of time to get right but I’m really close to wrapping up this intro scene. Once that’s done, I’ll move on to the start of the next ending, when the MC goes back home!

Right now, I’m working on fixing a scene with Harlequin. It’s been tricky to get the image transition to match his line properly but I’m making good progress!

About Merchandise! I’m currently talking with some partners to produce plushies and maybe a few other small merch items too! I’ll have more details to share soon. I’m really excited about this! It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, so it’ll be super fun to see everything come to life.

Plans Soon I’ll be sharing a small comic sketch with a bit of lore. I’ve been working on it during my lunch breaks, and it gives a little more insight into the interactions between some of the characters. I’m not sure yet if I’ll paint and fully finish it, but I think you’ll enjoy getting a bit more of a peek into life at the circus.

Do Pierrot and Harlequin hate each other like to death or more in a sibling way? Like, do they still, very deep down, care about each other? (sorry if my english is bad 😭)

They’ve got a pretty intense rivalry! But for sure, neither of them would let the other die, for example, so I guess, deep down, there’s something there, right? Some part of them still cares.
