The ability to self soothe is vital. It’s okay to need external support or even crave it, but it is incredibly important to be able to bring yourself down from a panic attack or process your emotions by yourself. Keep a list of comforting activities, a box of cozy items, or a playlist of helpful music. Create a safe space in your home, even if it’s just a corner. Be patient and take as long as you need, but remember that when you do your best to self soothe and it isn’t enough, it’s always okay to reach out for help.

Transformers studying human culture to determine what gender they match most closely with

Transformers who do this noticing visibly gender-nonconforming people, relating to them, and copying their pronouns

Human-friendly Transformers noticing that some humans don’t seem to like the aforementioned gender-nonconforming people, being baffled about why, and saying “but I’m more like him/her than anyone else”

"Wildfire Druid" dice are back! These are still raw and need some sanding and inking. The greadient is very soft and it looks like they have green inside, but there is no green inside at all.

I started working on a braided rug earlier this month, using some of the quilting cotton that I have too much of. It's inspired by some very old rugs that my grandparents had. I'm tearing the fabric into 4 cm wide strips, double folding it and slipstitching the edges together, then braiding it and whipstitching the edges of the braid together, around and around. I also pressed the fabric strips carefully after tearing them, and have been pressing the rug every time I go around the ends to prevent it from warping. It's coming along slowly and is currently 16 cm wide. I've used up almost one metre of fabric so far, and am about to switch to a different piece of green cotton.

Even if ogres might not be great parents (I've heard that ogres eat their young, is that something you people do?) it's still something that should be discussed.

And okay you can stay in Fiona's childhood bedroom filled with all the reminders that hey, everyone thought she was just a princess and princesses marry princes. Her toys left out from the last time she played with them. The prince slays the ogre. The princess offers a token of gratitude for slaying the ogre. Fiona wrote Mrs. Fiona Charming a million times in her diary because what else was she supposed to grow up to be?

And Harold you have to fix this, your country can't be ruled by ogres. You were unfit to rule when you were a frog but I changed you, I made you better, I made you a prince. You know how this works. Think of your daughter's safety.

Shrek goes to the Fairy Godmother and oh honey, ogres don't live happily ever after. It's just not done. It hasn't happened in all of fairy tale history. You have to change the both of you to be happy. You have to present as a prince and a princess. It will be better. You'll fit in better that way. You'll be accepted that way.
