OH BUT ALSO I thought of a borrower au where they get to be kinda normal :] Dmitri's still an outcast to the borrowers of Mikhail's apartment bc he's openly down bad for the human and that makes him a liability. Mik is hypersensitive so he knows they exist anyways (he can always hear them whispering unintelligably or shuffling in the walls... he hasn't slept in so long the paranoia is awful) but he does his best to pretend he doesn't notice them until one just... walks right up to take something from right in front of him. And he's conflicted bc like he's off duty but he's still a Cop he can't just ignore that this guy is like. Blatantly stealing from him. Like it's no big deal. He just stares with his autistic eyes until Dmitri says something about how he's staring lmao

Also the "flood" is just like. He gets so depressed he doesn't bother to fix a pipe that bursts or something idk

I can't sleep so here are my thoughts on these little freaks /aff :]

So Militsioner (who I've named Mikhail) is the literal embodiment of The Law, so maybe he's some sort of demigod, the manifestation of Law & Justice themselves. As a deity, he's unable to cause direct harm to any of his followers, though he can still do harm indirectly (so floods and property damage are still a risk!), so he can be a bit more... creative with how justice is served. Getting jailed isn't so bad; you just spend your sentance confined to his pocket, where he can keep a careful eye on you until you prove yourself trustworthy again. If you become a problematic or repeat offender, though... you're at the mercy of The Law, and The Law is all-consuming...

Our "criminal" Dimitri is a masochistic freak though, and anything is better than spending another night out in the cold city streets. Plus he gets a kick out of messing with The Giant, pushing his limits and finding new ways to get in his head. Gaslight gatekeep girlboss behavior. He was probably a skeevy corrupt cop or something before his arrest, so he has no problem bending the rules to suit his needs. Plus that makes him Inextricably Linked to The Law, so no matter how many times he breaks them he won't see the full extent of Punishment.

Perhaps, the worse your relationship is to The Law, the more damage he can actually do, for angst potential >:] maybe his clingy behavior is a result of a past relationship with a criminal going bad because they gradually lost touch with The Law, and they started getting more and more hurt each time they butted heads... until he lost them. And here's this asshole with the survival essence of a cockroach that will Not Stop Flirting with him and is openly TRYING to get punished lmao

Sleeping giants are just great.

This utterly massive being, one when compared to yourself completely outranks you in every physical facet; they could level cities if they so pleased, or perhaps engulf your entire form within their hand, your entire existence and life in the literal palm of it. They could do anything and you would be completely helpless.

But here? Here they lay sound asleep, a brief moment of vulnerability for an otherwise “invulnerable” being. Their deep breaths swaying the grass beneath their nose, or perhaps blowing sand out from under it. Deep hums arise from deep within them, perhaps reaction to a dream. Every now and then they move slightly, their head furrowing into the ground more, and their arms either stretching out or moving closer into their body. Their heard beats slowly and methodically in a clear relaxed state.

And you? Perhaps you lay upon them, taking in the warmth of their skin, or maybe listing to the sound of their heart and breathing as you slowly fall asleep within a pocket of their shirt.

Or are you are sitting beside them? Letting their warm breath wash over your small form, admiring their face as they sleep. Finally able to take in all of the little details that were usually lost when they were up and about. All the details that made you love them even more.

Maybe you’re sitting under one of their massive hands to keep away from the sun, only to be scooped up as they reposition themselves during a REM cycle. Trapping you within their large hand. It felt as if a mass weighted blanked fell over your body. A comforting feeling, but one you are unable to escape.

Their fingers will soon begin to unravel as this moment of rem sleep slowly passes by. Freeing you from their grasp. Perhaps you’ll stay in the position you’re in, relaxing against one of their many large fingers that surround you, or maybe you’ll move, finding a new sitting position or perhaps finally attempting to wake your large friend. The latter proving to be an entire story in itself

Hehe, I haven't gotten through the full playthrough yet, and I know he's taking his time getting through the current story so there won't be huge gaps between updates, like he did with the first game ^^ plus the game's still going through development so its all subject to change either way (like the first game entirely removing the Mysterious Stranger storyline!) I'm definitely keeping my Deuces OC as they are now, I really like the concept I came up with, it might just make for some fun AUs in the future as the story progresses :]

The story I came up with was for a DLC that takes you under the house, following notes from a mysterious figure known as KasP.R. after Dr. Tully and BURG.L recieve a weak signal from a fifth functional SCA.B! I never really finished my art for them or did anything with the storyline but it can definitely still work with the new game! (Also they have a bunch of spider friends bc I love spiders and wanted them to have a jumping spider companion!)

Finally got around to watching Laggin's Grounded 2 playthrough (FAVORITE GAME GOT A SEQUEL WOOOO) and I have a fun lil crack theory (which may or may not be inspired by the OC idea I had for the first game qgajshaj) but what if. The Mysterious Stranger™ is the fifth teen from the first game? Maybe they were presumed dead and left behind in the backyard, and now they've grown bitter and resentful of not only Ominent, but Dr. Tully (and to a lesser extent the other teens) for leaving them behind in the backyard? So they reworked the leftover O.R.C. technology to get around easier and survive, and eventually to seek revenge on the people that wronged them? Might make for a fun AU for my OC Kastor if nothing else :]

Also the personality of the Mysterious Stranger so far line up pretty well with the letter that's associated with the 5th teen! They talk about the other kids like they're a bit older, and the Stranger sounds relatively young, but still older than the main character(s). They showed care for the other teens in their note, and the Stranger repeatedly tells the player to stop interfering with their business and showing admiration for their skills (while also threatening them repeatedly, kinda gives me older sibling vibes tbh lol) and idk I think it'd be a nice way to bring the story full circle as the 5th teen was one of the biggest mysteries in the original game! (Besides the original Mysterious Stranger that was later removed entirely, though there definitely may be a connection there as well)

Daily reminder that being into g/t is not that weird. Non-g/ters don’t immediately think you’re weird or a freak for saying you like The Secret World of Arrietty or informing them about your g/t OCs. It’s really not that strange. Your brain is just making you feel worse over something you can’t necessarily control. It’s okay. If my non-g/t friends don’t immediately judge me for talking about my g/t OCs, yours won’t either.

If you’re still unconvinced- there are plenty of people who love dragons- who’s obsessed over dragons since they were a kid. Telling someone ‘I’ve liked dragons since I was a kid” is the same thing as telling someone “I’ve been interested in giants since I was a kid. Not sure why.”

It really isn’t that big of a deal. It’s okay. You can be yourself in front of your friends- and if you can’t, then they shouldn’t be your friends.

HELP I'M BEING TARGETED AGAIN

The gt community has some serious problems and i genuinely feel like everyone Is blind in here. Racism and dehumanization is literally so widespread. Everyday i'll read people refer to other PEOPLE with merely different cultural customs as "feral" and "wild". Everyones favorite trope Is the White savior and White mans burden. "Tinies" are talked about as if they are actually animals, they live miserable lives that the "civilized" humans saves them from. If tinies are in trouble, no problem a single human Will come in and save all of them. Pet trope resolution is a human buys a slave and later realizes they are actually a person. Or the slave appeals to their suppressors and "oh actually these tinies aren't so bad" and they're all friends. Or straight up someone being owned as property is actually fine and cute. "Darker themes" in here are literal race play. There's no nuance, no respect no nothing. Dehumanization is a fun little trope. All of these things are said and thought in absolutely honesty by users here. Boundaries are an absolutely alien concept in here. I'm into size difference but never referred myself as part of the gt group, however i had my characters added to a gt tournament without my permission. Absolutely uncalled for comments. No my character Is not a tiny. Artists are treated as content farmers. So many times i've seen people beg others to stop sending shit asking them abt requests. There's things that are absolutely not sfw here that get shared as such. There's no Need for there to be a dick and a ball for It to be nsfw, your fic where a tiny guy pisses themself, gets tortured twelve chapters straight or Is treated like a pet Is not sfw of fluff. Get outta here
